I sampled this twice, and the DH liked the scent as well so I am buying a full bottle. It reminds me of a perfume I liked in the 80's before I had my own money, that I can not wear now and does not smell anything like I remember. Still, there was a wispy waft of it that I liked...the LONG-awaited drydown on the clothes of other people, and this perfume smells like that. So happy right now.

Ahh... this is tuberose heaven! Ironically, when this first came out in the ‘80s... I HATED it. Reminded me of my grandma, who would get trigger-happy with perfumes like Fracas, Joy, & Jungle Gardenia until my sinuses screamed for mercy. That woman just about ruined white floral perfumes for me!! Giving this another try in 2019 at a duty-free shop, I fell in love (and ordered it more cheaply on eBay). I believe the current formulation is faithful to the original, but not quite as strong. Which is fine with me, because traces of the original can probably still be detected in outer space 😊 This is a classic beauty jam-packed with tropical flowers— but fresh flowers, like wearing a sweetly fragrant lei. At first spray I detect the banana-like notes of ylang-ylang and night blooming jasmine. There is a bit of greenery, keeping things smelling clean. The tuberose, with its fleshy and buttery notes, comes next and is just as delightful. The composition dries down to a soft oakmoss (pretty typical for ‘80s florals; Beautiful has a similar mossy finish) and what I call “the back end of tuberose”— that rubbery, almost bitter note that instantly brings Fracas to mind. In this fragrance, it just works, bringing a distinctive signature and an air of real sophistication. Thumbs way up!

Received a 30mil of it as a gift and thought meh, another cold musky floral with tones of cheap, synthetic white musk.left it in a dark corner of my perfume shelf and forgot about it for a year.I rediscovered it last month.we were going to a short trip and I wanted a perfume with a clean,summer-freindly scent and a tiny bottle so that I could carry in my bag and I chose this one It still didn't impress me when I first sprayed it and again cheap, synthetic and sharp musk came to my mind but it gets better and better as time passes.skin warmth seems to unfold it and pretty white flowers start shining.lily is the most dominant one on me and I love lily.I can also detect a hint of orange flower, jasmin and honeysuckle.flowers aren't heavy,in your face or musty and old.they create such a lovely, crisp and clean scent that makes me think of white, newly washed clean linen.I can pickup just a touch something green and dewy in background which saves it from turning to a dry, overly soapy scent. There are two points that make me like 212 even more and think that I might repurchase it in future:first unlike some other musky florals,it has a lovely drydown.and second:it has impressive longevity.yesterday night I had two sprays of it,one on each of my arms.ten hours later when I wakeup in the morning I could smell a beautiful, soft skinscent.the first thing my husband said was:you smell devine.so clean and lovely 212 is timeless, ageless and easy to wear in different situations.it can make a lovely bride perfume while it's also a good choice for daily wear in school or work place.I don't like it's bottle but it's good that we can take out, carry and spray each of the two balls separately(albeit not in 30 mil version).give it a try if you like Jesus del pozo In White,Cacharel Noa,Jennifer Lopez Glow,Bijan Nude for men or even Estee Lauder Modern Muse
