Although the color to me is a 5, the sheerness lowers it to a 4 because you definitely need 3 or 4 coats (unless you put it over a sheer white or pink/purple, or french manicure).
I love the color it's light pink with white sparkles and a gold/pink subtle shimmer. The wear and tear is amazing although I use it with the zoya base and top coat. I definitely recommend this color if your looking for more pale girly colors to add to your nail polishes. I think it does take a little longer to dry but that is due to the amount of layers I usually apply!

Bailey is a soft shimmery baby pink and is meant to be worn on the sheer side. I found the formula rather watery and not as thick as I would have liked it to be. If you prefer wearing it opaque, it takes three coats (at least). The reason for my low rating is that the colour washes me out completely. It blends right into my skin-tone and becomes quite hard to distinguish my nails from my skin.

I had a manicure on Saturday and choose this polish. It's a light pinkish color with iridescence. So far no chipping. This is my first manicure with Zoya nail polish and I may end up buying this color.

I love this polish. It is a beautiful natural pink with a girly but not overwhelming glitter. It looks great with only one coat, without a top coat or undercoat, so is particularly good if you are in a hurry. It is also hard to chip, easy to apply and dries really quickly. I have found Zoya to be the best - better than Essie, Butter London and OPI! It also looks really good over matt neutrals to add a bit of sparkle.
It lasts for days. I usually only remove it when I fancy a different colour. Awesome.

The base color for Bailey is nice enough, a soft pink great for French manicures or on its own. What I don't like about it is whatever is in it for the shimmery effect. It seems like tiny flakes are in the polish which end up making it look like dried rain on car windows. It took me a while to decide whether I like it or not, I've decided on not.

OPI’s Honeymoon Sweet is my usual HG polish for when I want a sheer with a touch of color but I had seen several pictures of this and fell in love. This seemed to be the perfect shade for when I don’t really want to deal with color but don’t want to leave my nails unpainted. I finally got my hands on it and when I tried it for the first time last night…I hated it. I learned long ago that I just can’t pull off peach shades, as beautiful as they are in the bottle, and I should have listened to that logic before buying this one. It’s a very light peachy pink with tiny microflecks and peach iridescence to make it interesting. It really is a beautiful shade but on me it looks horrible. It reminds me of the failed You Cannoli Imagine attempt. Against my light skintone it just makes my nails look an unhealthy and unnatural shade of ick. I really wanted to like this but I just can’t pull it off so up for swap it goes. I think on the right skintone this could be really pretty.

Application was really easy, which surprised me a little since I normally have a bit of trouble with Zoyas. I think it’s because the brush is really small and narrow so I have a hard time on my thumbs, which are a bit wider. I usually have to put more polish on the brush halfway through but this one gave me no trouble. I still won’t rebuy it though.

Bailey, a wonderful shade of pink, with glitter, is a great textured polish! Get it!

THE COLOR

This is a lovely sheer pink shade. It's a very light pink, like a light bubble gum or cotton candy. Yet it's full of glitter! It's a very glowy pink shimmer that lights this color up. It's actually equally silver and golden glitter. But it really glows. I don't love the silvery toned glitter but I do love the golden toned glitter in this polish, because it's such a lovely shade under the pink and it glows.

THE TEXTURE/APPLICATION

This texture may be a bit thicker feeling than OPI or Essie! But it's not gloopy. It's light but thick. It does lay down a bit thicker. It applies very smoothly and not streaky. Nice. Feels more like frosting than paint. Not bad at all. Be sure to reach out to the corners of your tips if you have flared nails like mine.

THE WEAR

This is the start of day 3. NO CHIPS at all! I am impressed. This is great for me, and I used Nailtek II Hydration and Nailtek II Foundation ridge filler over that... and I used Sally Hansen Extreme Growth topcoat and Poshe! I love this color. By the way it's a little cool but the gold warms it up. Try it if you would like a sheerish shimmery pink.

Yes, I do have pics, just mail me if you would like to see Bailey! continued >>
