I'll admit it: I'm a lip balm lover and a coconut addict.
So when I saw this at Rite Aid, I was psyched, and I absolutely had to get it.
I didn't expect it to work as well as SoftLips, but surprise surprise, it does!
Other than the MAC Viva Glam Ricky Lip Conditioner, this is one of the most moisturizing lip balms I've EVER tried! You know how lip balms typically just sit on top of your chapped lips and never really does anything? Yeah, well, this lip balm doesn't do that. It actually HEALS the chappedness (is that a word?) and settles into your lips without that heavy feeling, which is another pet peeve of mine: lip balms that feel thick, heavy, and obvious.
And I absolutely love how it's organic, cheap, and smells like coconut.
Very worth the $3 I paid for this! (I purchased this at Rite Aid. I saw this in a mini rack right next to other Alba Botanica lip balms; there was Pineapple, Passionfruit, and Coconut Cream. The rack was hard to find though.)
Although I do like SoftLips and MAC Viva Glam Ricky Lip Conditioner, I love this even more! It's better than Burt's Bees and Chapstick!
Would I repurchase? Definitely!

I didn't expect to like this as much as I do. I use it as an overnight lip treatment and although the product in the tube gets mushy and is rather more difficult to apply evenly than I'd like (which is annoying), it smells great, tastes great, and leaves my lips super-soft and smooth with no drying or caking. I do love to buy lip balms but this one is just about the end of my road. Vegetarian product with no animal testing, reasonably priced. Superb. My HG.

I strayed from my favorite lip balm to try C.O. Bigelow rose salve. Mistake. The Alba balm is great for people who mistreat their lips: do not moisturize on schedule, lick, chew or suck on their lips. I appreciate the thick coating it leaves on the lips and pleasant aroma. The thick coating means I am not required to constantly re apply. Walmart generally carries this product for a little over $2 dollars. Some other stores charge over $3.

Mm, i'm wearing this stuff right now. Excellent product, keeps my lips feeling moisturized and amazing forever. Feels great on and doesn't feel bad as it wears off. Definitely a buy.

Easily one of my fave lip balms. Every time I use it i get a little burst of summer despite the weather haha, coconut scent is so delicious. Very moisturizing and stays on my lips far longer than most products I use, even so I reapply several times a day just for the fun of it. =]

Before this one, I'd never bought a lip balm more than once - and certainly never used one up - but I love it. No build-up on the sides of my mouth, the smell is lovely, and ditto the lovely things others have said in their reviews.
Extra tips that work for me: For over 30 eye crinkles, take a very tiny, tiny bit, soften with the pads of your fingers, and dab it on around the eyes once a week before bed (my skin soaks it up like it's spa material). Also, I buff/scrub my lips on a regular basis, and this stuff is a great after-treatment in lieu of plain aloe and oil.

I love this lipbalm! It smells like delicious, creamy, milky, sweet coconuts. I'm OBSESSED with the scent. I find myself just taking it out of my bag to smell it. Its even better on the lips - it moisturizes and heals chapped lips. The moisture it gives lasts a while, unlike other brands. Its amazing, and I'll always repurchase.

I bought this after reading the reviews here. And I'm very glad I did. This natural lip balm really moisturizes. It turned my dry chapped lipped into soft ones within 2 days of use. It smells and tastes good to me. It feels nice going on and keeps my lips moisturized all day when I apply it in the morning. I would definitely repurchase!

This is one of my favorite lip balms, I've repurchased it numerous times! (which is rare for me) No matter how many times I use it, I still get entranced by the coconut scent. It is SO delicious. Not to mention this stuff really moisturizes, it's a must have in the winter. :)

I have this one and the passionfruit nectar. The passionfruit just sits there because I always use this one. The scent/ flavor you like most will be a personal choice, but the formula lasts a VERY long time on my lips, which is something I really appreciate. I can do a quick swipe before I leave the house and I'm good to go, I don't even have to bring it with me!

I really like this product. I am not sure I would purchase again, just because I have many lip balms. I love the smell, but I wouldn't say it works as well as others, such as Blistex or Nivea. The reason I bought it was because it was about $1 on sale at my local Target. If you are into coconut, I would consider it, because it smells so good & goes on so nice! continued >>

It dries out my lips so much! They become SUPER chapped every time I use this product. Love the concept and coconut is my fav but this product is a nogo for me unfortunately

I bought a bunch of these a while back when CVS had them for 75% off. I rotate lip balms frequently, because they seem to ‘lose effectiveness’ quickly for me. I’ve been using this Coconut Cream lip balm pretty regularly for the last couple of days. I like that it contains mostly organic ingredients. For a ‘natural’ lip balm its pretty effective (I’ve found most ‘natural’ lip balms tend to provide short-term moisture but actually leave my lips feeling drier in the long run). The texture is thick and kind of soft. It gets a little too soft if left in my pocket or exposed to heat. It leaves a cushy protective layer on my lips (I like a substantial-feeling balm). I especially like to wear it over top a lip stain, to make my lips look naturally plump & healthy. It lasts on my lips for 1-2 hours (or all night if applied before bed). My lips still feel comfortable even when it wears off. I don’t have super-dry lips, though. I just like something to maintain moisture and prevent chapping. I like all things coconut, so even though this has a strong, almost-artificial coconut scent and taste, I still like it. This is a basic, effective lip balm with good, natural ingredients. With the great reviews for this, I thought it was going to be my answer to my always chapped lips. The scent was fine, although I expected it to smell more coconutty than it does. Kind of smells like vanilla - which I hate... But overall, fine. The balm itself is very soft and you can apply a pretty thick layer with several swipes. It feels nice when your lips are NOT chapped.. But this seemed to do nothing for me. It made my chapped lips peel, then once I exfoliated my lips and applied it again to my fresh lips.. My lips would dry out soon after. I used this for a month straight and my lips were constantly peeling. I wont be purchasing this again. Nothing works better than my Smith's Rosebud lip salve.

Almost used the whole tube before I realized it was drying out my lips. Makes lips peel and feels very chunky on.

This stuff works good, but I think the smell is gross and that's coming from someone that LOVES all things coconut. It doesn't smell anything like I imagined it would. If I didn't know better I would think I was sniffing some Hawaiian Tropic suntan oil. Gross.
I won't buy this one again, but I'll probably try the fruit one next time since it does feel good on my lips.

I dont like this coconut smell but the chapstick preformance is wonderful regardless. I dont like eating coconuts but I like the smell in cosmetics, go figure. This chapstick smells like a chemical-y coconut flavor mixed with overly sweet vanilla icing. It has not grown on me over time.
I do use it at night as I climb into bed. Im not aware of the smell & taste as I sleep so for the 10-15 min Im awake I can deal with the smell. The chapstick lasts all night and Im a mouth breather due to retainers so I can really test a chapsticks lasting power. I wake up and can still feel it on my lips. I also wake up to soft, smoother than when I went to bed lips.
I will not be buying this flavor again, but I will buy the Passion Fruit variety. continued >>

I like but don't love it. Its moisturising, mostly organic, easily available, portable, and cheap. However, it smells like coconut oil, not the delicious coconut "cream" that I had imagined and it doesn't have spf. Its a slightly gritty texture that's somewhat slick that leaves my lips glossy. Overall, not something
I would repurchase due to personal preference

This is a really good lip balm, one of the best ones I have tried. It tastes and smells very good and it's very moisturizing. If I hadn't already discovered Burt's Bees, then this would be my favourite lip balm. The thing I prefer about Burt's Bees is that it has more of a natural/almost matte look, and this one is more shiny. That is the only reason I would not purchase again, but it is a very good lip balm and I recommend it, I'm just very picky about lip balms! :)

This is one of my favorite lip balms. It's cheap and it smells and tastes delicious. Its very moisturizing without having to reapply constantly. It leaves my lips looking nice and moist, not greasy or too shiny. I love that it goes on clear and doesn't make my lips look paler. I actually finished an entire tube of this which is rare for me. I would definitely repurchase.
