Sometimes my hair get really dull unshiny and unrules; in such a case, this shampoo can do miracles. I can use it only for a while, then stop, because my hair are getting oily easily, but this shampoo really works; hair are nice to touch, easy to detangle, shiny and not looking dull.

I've been using this product together with the conditioner for about 5 months now. My hair is fine and tangles very easily, this was the first time I bought a expensive "salon"-shampoo and I was sceptical first but after reading so many good reviews on it I decided to give it a try. Im very happy with it since my hair is really smooth and non-frizz after using it. Although it tends to get greasy after 2 days (maybe its normal?) I concider to try another series of redken. The smell is good but abit weak for my taste, doesnt last very long, the day after washing my hair smells absolutely nothing hehe. Although very good value for the money since it lasts long and you only need a small amount

I have very fine hair that tangles a lot, so it is very hard to find great shampoo, specially that does not break me out on hairline (most of shampoos contains SLS - Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfates, Soy Protein and Hydrolized Wheat Protein). I know this one contains SLS too, but I decided to try it.
I saw they have two kinds of All Soft shampoo/conditioner at the store: 1) with Avocado Oil 2) with Argan oil - I chose Argan Oil as I red many good reviews about it and the bottle looked nicer.
I love the smell of this shampoo - its like peaches and cream, or apples and cream, can not tell, but pretty yummy smell. It does not tangle my hair while washing so thats amazing. I am not sure if my hair felt much softer but at least they were not worst. Hard to tell as I also purchased new conditioner, so Im not sure who gets the bonus.
I only hope this shampoo wont break me out (Soy/Wheat protein).
UPDATE: As much as I loved this shampoo, I think it broke me out around neck and hairline a little. I think it's from Hydrolized Soy Protein or Hydrolized Wheat Protein. (I had some cleansers and shampoos with this ingredient before and it always broke me out). And this is the reason I am returning this shampoo.

I've used a LOT of shampoos Aveda, nexxus, etc.. and decided to try this one because of the great reviews. And it IS amazing!!! I started small with the reg size bottle but since then I've have gone through two liter size ones of the shampoo & conditioner. It leaves my hair so manageable and I don't even need to comb it EVER. I will definitely keep repurchasing. continued >>

This paired with the conditioner has really helped my dry hair out. I have been using it for about 2 months, and I have no complaints. It smells really good. Leaves hair feeling hydrated and soft, yet still clean and non-greasy. I really like it.

I have been suffering form hairloss since 15. Am 38 now. Tried every shampoo on the market.Redken finall solved my problem! Redken is fabulous! Totally no hairloss. Started with the Redken Time Reset, lovely scent, no hairloss but hair was dry and frizzy but looked thick (I have very fine hair).
All Soft on the other hand gave my hair such a fabulous feel. Really soft, lively and made my wavy hair look fabulous! The scent is very nice. I bought the 1l bottle on discount. I dilute it and store in a smaller bottle for daily use. Only a little is needed diluted to give a great wash. I wash my hair everyday. My daughters' hair look and feel great too with this shampoo! I am glad I found this shampoo and pray they will never discontinue it!

I agree with someone earlier who wrote that with this schampoo one have to wash the hair more often. I have really dry hair that can take big amounts of leave-in, hair oil, etc without looking greasy. With other schampoos I only have to wash my hair like once a week, with this every second or sth. Therefor I'm not too positive. Makes the hair really soft though, so maybe good for someone who anyway likes to wash the hair often. The bottles are ugly, the smell is nice.

Good shampoo. Does make your hair super soft. Only problem is that when using this, I have to wash my hair every other day. Usually with other salon shampoos I can easily go three days without washing it in between. Perhaps the oils are just too much for my scalp. Very good for dry lengths, though.

I like this shampoo okay, but it is nothing spectacular and definitely not what I've come to expect from Redken. I wish this shampoo had a different scent because I love for my hair to smell delicious, and unfortunately this just smells like bar soap. It leaves my hair feeling decently soft, but with this comes the greasiness the next morning. I would probably purchase this again if it were on sale, but otherwise I'm still on the hunt for a HG shampoo. By the way I have fine, medium-thick hair.

I think this is a nice shampoo. It certainly leaves my hair feeling pretty soft, and I like the fact that I get the softness without the heavy feeling associated with some products - my hair feels soft yet quite light and clean. To me, though, it's just good, certainly not amazing and probably not good enough to purchase again given the high price. I find that I can get very similar results from pretty basic drugstore shampoos - I recently stayed with a friend and tried pantene repair and protect (the new one) and although I normally can't stand pantene products this was actually pretty nice and gave similar results to the All Soft. I don't know, I think I'm going to give up buying expensive shampoo because I've yet to find one that's worth it or really makes a difference to my hair over any other gentle and moisturising shampoo. Conditioners and treatments, on the other hand, are a different story and I find that great high end conditioner formulations can be light years better than drugstore brands. I see that the All Soft conditioner has some wonderful reviews on here so that's going to be my next purchase but I probably wouldn't buy this shampoo again, pleasant as it is, just because of the high price tag.

Not bad at all, though I don't get the lingering smell that others speak of and I'd love to know why the shampoo is sold in 300ml bottles and the matching conditioner in only 250ml - that aside it pretty much does what it says on the bottle. I agree that it's perhaps not an everyday shampoo but it's a great one for the rotation. I've yet to notice the scalp irritation others have mentioned but its early days and I'll update should that occur. In all I'm happy enough with the product but probably wouldn't rush out and buy again at this stage, I'm yet to be convinced that it's anything really special.

I bought this shampoo and conditioner a couple of weeks ago because I was almost out of my Garnier Fructis ones. It was fairly expensive, but I bought it on sale. So feelings on this:
1) It smells AMAZING. It smells a bit like pears and cream, and the smell stays without being too strong. I have gotten sooo many compliments on how good I smell and they were all because of the shampoo and conditioner.
2) It makes my hair really soft. Note: Soft doesn't mean smooth. My hair really isn't that smooth but it isn't tangly and it has gotten so much more touchable after using these products.
3) The only bad thing is that it does dry your hair out a bit. Your scalp gets a little itchy but you can just use olive oil on your scalp to make it more moisturized.
I would definitely buy this again, I just love trying new shampoos. But I love this a lot. Get it!!

It really does leave my hair soft and shiny and I rarely experience build-up with it. The scent smells like artificial peaches or something, and it doesn't last, which is fine for me. Foams nicely and if you properly wet your hair, you won't need a lot to get it to foam. I generally shampoo every other day, allow my hair to air dry at least 50%, then I'll blow dry it until my hair is approximately 80% dry.

O-M-freakin'-G.
Here's the deal: My hair hates shampoo. Every time I wash it, it's guaranteed to frizz, poof, and generally look embarassing, with or without conditioner. As such, I try to avoid washing it more than 3 times a week, but I have an oily scalp and my hair gets greasy-looking about 2-3 days after washing. Bottom line: I can't avoid shampoo, but I need one that won't turn my hair into an unmanageable frizz-ball.
Enter Redken.
During my most recent trip to the salon, my hairdresser washed and conditioned my hair with what turned out to be a couple of miracle products. I was gobsmacked at the results. My hair had never felt softer, smoother, and more manageable, and I chalked it up to a stylist's expertise and that mysterious "old salon magic". (She didn't do any fancy stuff to my hair, just a basic wash, cut, and quick blow-dry.) But I asked her what she'd used anyway, and she told me it was All Soft. I'd never heard of it. A quick MUA search told me it was by Redken, and after a trip to my local Trade Secrets, I held a $15 bottle of the shampoo in my hands. (Ouch.) I fully expected to be let down by the results at home.
I wasn't. All Soft is frickin' brilliant. I shampooed and skipped conditioner - something I haven't done since I was a teenager with a buzz-cut - and was blown away when I stepped out of the shower. My hair felt soft, silky, smooth, and every other covetable shampoo-commercial adjective you can think of. I let it air dry, and it didn't frizz, puff out for miles, or feel straw-like and brittle. I immediately renounced all drugstore shampoos and conditioners and swore allegiance to Redken. Beginner's luck? Time will tell.
Yes, Redken is costly. But my experience with All Soft strengthens my already-firm belief that when it comes to hair products, for the most part, you get what you pay for. I'm happy to pay for genius in a bottle, especially when it garners these results. HG to the max.

Same as a few other posters: made my hair look and feel great, but my scalp paid the price. Itchy, red, and disgusting.

Best shampoo/conditioner I have ever used. I've been using them for over a year. I get the most compliments about my hair when I use this, and people always say how good my hair smells. I will always repurchase!

Ive pretty much got my whole skincare routine worked out so I decided to progress to my hair. Due to occassionaly swimmig in chlorine pools and use of hot irons my hair looks a little lifeless. I have only used drugstore brands.
I bought this in a pack with the conditioner. I was a bit disappointed when i was washing my hair with it as i was expecting some invigorating feel. However that feel came after my hair dried. My experience so far is that it makes my hair feel so soft wihout the weighing down feeling (arm pit length hair).
I have only used it for 2 weeks but i have not noticed any amazing shine. I guess his product is called All Soft and not All Shine for a reason!
After my first use I went to work and many ppl asked me if i got a haircut. With such comments at just one use i cant wait to make an update about this product after i finish the bottle.
Yes the price is a factor but i think the results r worth it and at this stage i will buy again :)

I agree with a previous reviewer, simple put, this shampoo (and conditioner) made my scalp burn and itch (as with many other combos). Still looking for a staple shampoo and conditioner combo :(
