Way to describe it? A yellow based champagne color with frostyness to it. Hands down the best champagne color (or 'skin color' color).

I think my favorite thing about this eyeshadow is that it easily brightens up my eyes, with just a couple sweeps of it. It's amazing to use if you have zero time in the morning, amd you need a quick eyeshadow to put on.

It's also very versitile. It goes with almost any eyeshadow color, and blends with of all them nicely. And it goes with all of my Revlon lip butters.

And one last thing I'm going to commend this about is it's texture. Unlike some of the other eyeshadows I have, it has such a nice, buttery smooth touch to it. I'm sure a majority of Stila's eyeshadows are like that.

My biggest pet peeve about this, however, is how easily it breaks. I dropped it once on my carpeting, and it broke. I've dropped all my other shadows once, and they have never shattered that easily. So yeah, that's one thing to look out for when buying this eyeshadow.

Oh. And make sure not to put too much on. You can overdo it.

Agghh! I want to love Kitten, I really do, but I just don't. Now, I love a good shimmery eyeshadow. I just think this particular shade looks like I have a frosty white shadow all over my lid. However, I didn't dock off lippies for that reason, because it will definitely be gorgeous on other people with a lighter skin tone. I did, however, knock down some lippies because of the darn packaging! The eyeshadow itself has cracked twice and I've had to bring it back to life. I wish Stila still made the cardboard ( i think?) silver packaging because this slim black thing isn't working. The buttery eyeshadow is so easily cracked and the packaging itself is falling apart. Now, Kitten is a very pretty color with a very nice pigmented formula, but the packaging and shade aren't for me.

I really love this shadow, and I can understand why it is so widely admired.

Lovely beige-pink-champagne color, more of a neutral tone so I think it looks good on lots of people. Very shimmery - lovely lid color but I think I like it best as a brow highlight. It really does a great job at that - my whole face looks awake and rested! I've tried a ton of these types of shadows - the champagne beige Kitten so-called dupes - but they don't touch the original.

Now, for the consistency and packaging - I think Stila could do a lot better. The tiny shadow compact is sort of brittle and easily cracked - doesn't protect the product much. And the shadow itself is super soft, gets super flaky and dusty, and you barely need to touch it with your brush to get enough product. For $18 a pop? Bugs me. . . but the color is so great I am probably going to put up with it, and keep buying it.

There's a reason why so many people love it. Me, too. Highly recommended. Just don't drop it. yeah, right.

Kitten is one of the nicest colors that I have ever seen! Super pretty with other shadows or on it's own. Was very excited to purchase when the Stila line came to Shoppers Drug Mart and had to wait a while because this particular shade was out of stock. Used this eyeshadow about 5 times and on the 6th I opened the package and it was shattered :( very dissapointed. Would repurchase if I didn't already have the shade in a bigger Stila palette. Would also consider buying Kitten shade in smudge crayon.

I bought this a while ago and was very excited to use it. I was so disappointed. I found it too shimmery and although it goes on smooth, the shadow was too powdery and loose. It broke, crumbled into a pot of powder and got quite messy. It is also messy to use. It does not stay put.

I thought I'd give it another try today. Still do not like it. It is messy to use and it gives messy results. I don't like shimmery cheeks, but that's what this product gives me.

I think I'll finish this product as a highlighter and use it on days when shimmery cheeks are welcome.

i'm nw10 girl living in humid area (summer all year lol), stila kitten is such a lovely champagne colour ever. i have other champagne eyeshadow but none ever cool like this..

the texture is buttery, but it's kinda easy to crack up.. (my 1st kitten is broke into powder, i already pressed it but it still back to powder. so kinda fragile) but still i dont have problem with it unless it's kinda messy.

the colour pop up quiet nice.. kinda champagne a bit reddish on my cool tone skin but it's still look good.. it's not like you wearing pink, still look champagne and lighten up my eyes. it's a great product to be use as all over lid eyeshadow or even to put up on your tear duct and browbone. still can highlighting my extremely fair skin. not so harsh like silvery. still warmer than silvery color

the staying power quiet good (i also support it with eyeshadow primer)

nothing else to say, but LOVE stilla kitten..

(and yeah i already did the second purchase)

I bought this shadow in my never ending search for a HG champagne eye shadow. I had heard so many raves for this I really thought I would love it. Unfortunately that was not the case. I find this formula way to "soft" it crumbles with barley a touch. The colour is nice but the formula to me isn't and I cant wear it i hate even how it applies. Definitely wont be trying any more eye shadows from Stila.

About me: NW10-15 (neutral-cool toned, very fair), blue eyes, Color season is True Summer, Baumann Skin Type is OSPW.

This is such a lovely shimmery eye shadow. The texture and quality is like butter, so smooth. I love pairing this with other shadows and putting it in my inner corners. This one is famous for a reason.

This is an eye shadow I've repurchased at least 7 times. I love it because it can also be used as a beautiful highlighter on the cheekbones. Use a fan brush for the cheekbones and it will look just right. I hope they never discontinue this one. It's beautiful.
