Highlighters -Stila -Heavenâs Hue Highlighter - Luminescence

on 11/18/2018 5:36:00 PM

Recently picked up this highlighter. I’m not big on highlighters, but this colour just reached out to me, it’s not over the top by any means. It’s an iridescent plum rose colour. When applied I’d say it’s subtle compared to the other colours in this line. And that’s what attractts me to ithis mild performance highlighter. Gives off a warm glow, excellent as a blush topper! Lovely luxe casing with mirror, primarily matte square casing, with some chrome gold detailing. The product texture is unusual... very similarly to their putty foundation. An easily malleable product-very sqishable justt like putty. A real nice addition to my makeup collection.

Eyeliner -Stila -Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner - Lionfish

It was a good job this came in a beauty calendar and I haven’t wasted my money on it is all I can say! £16 for this! Where do I start? It does look nice when it first goes on but if you are using it in your waterline then you have to go over it a few times to get it to show up.

Once on, the glitter in it falls down after a couple of hours and it smudges under the eyes! Save your money and buy the Barry M Bold waterproof liner for £3.99, it does not budge until you take it off. It looks just as fresh at the end of the day and is a quarter of the price!

Lipstick -Stila -Color Balm Lipsticks (All)

on 11/13/2018 8:38:00 AM

I have this is the colour Vivienne, which is a warm nude. I use it tapped onto my lips as applying normally makes the colour too strong. It’s a shade too warm to be a true nude for me, but I still really like it. The packaging is lovely, and the lipstick itself is nice. Slick and easily applied, with a nice sheen. I don’t find it especially sheer, so it feels more like a moisturising lipstick than a coloured balm if that makes sense! It also has a hint of peppermint which I really like, but I know this can cause sensitivities with some so be aware. I do think this is on the pricey side for a lipstick, for me this works out ok as I’m not using a lot of product each time. I would buy again but probably try a different colour.

Highlighters -Stila -Heaven's Hue KITTEN

on 11/10/2018 2:23:00 PM

Why oh why have I not tried this before? I was browsing through the Beauty Boutique section of SDM (almost a daily occurrence for me, ugh) and this was like a beacon calling out to me. I head straight over to immediately swatch every single shade of these highlighters and instantly fell in love. I looooooove a glossy highlight and loathe the glittery, chunky “you’re wearing highlight” highlighters. Heaven’s Hue can be worn as a subtle glowy glossy highlight or applied with a stronger touch will give you an intense wet look highlight, no glitter, just pure illumination that can blind you. It’s absolutely magical and the texture is a playground for the fingers. I challenge anyone to not touch it more than once with your fingers. Wear time is on the mark, lasting all day or night until you remove your makeup. There are 8 shades in the range but Kitten is a perfect nude with a slight pink/peach tone to it. It is a dimethicone based product so if you don’t like that move on.

Eye Shadow -Stila -Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow

on 11/7/2018 8:18:00 PM

These are excellent! I love these and the glitter one's as well. They are super easy to use and what I really like is that with my watery eyes they last. These shimmer liquid shadows are great because they do not flake or fade.

They last till I take it off and they are such pretty colours. My favorite shade is Cloud it's such a pretty lavender duo. I love liquid eye shadows and with these I wish I could have them all. They are just so easy and fun to use.
