Lipstick -Stila -Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick - Baci

on 9/21/2018 11:00:00 PM

This liquid lipstick normally retails at $22, but I got it for $12 with a Christmas shopping deal. The first thing I noticed about this product is that the applicator is completely flat instead of the typical doe foot shape. This will be a challenge for some people to use. The color dries down to a pink-nude on the lips and feels fairly comfortable and not too drying. It is faintly scented, but the scent is not unpleasant. I found that the lipstick would stand up to water, but could not be reapplied easily after eating. I also had issues with the product seemingly drying in two different textures on the lips, with the center part of the lips looking cracked and crumbly (while feeling smooth) and the rest of the lips appearing smooth. This was despite exfoliating before use. While I do like the product the odd texture I experienced combined with the high price will lead me to look to other liquid lipsticks in the future.

Foundations -Stila -Stay All Day Foundation & Concealer

Everyone is different depending of skin type. This is the HG for sensitive dry skin which I have. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this foundation if you have oily or oily combination acne prone skin. I've been looking for a new foundation for months now until I went to Sephora and the girl recommended it. I have old acne (cystic) ice pick scars and discoloration (yay for me) I need full coverage matte foundation. I tried everything ELDW, Fenty, Born this Way, EL maximum cover, smashbox Hydrating foundation, Nars all day foundation, they all made my skin flaky and crepy looking and totally would dry out my face in certain areas at the end of a work day. I messed up my skin barrier by exfoliating too much with glycolic acid, I wish I hadn't done that ugh. I had oily skin ever since I was a teenager now my skin is so sensitive and dry it's a nightmare and so annoying. I go get samples of foundation before I buy them so it's always good to try out before. However I'm 38 and was expecting the dryness to start at some point? I set this with powder and my skin still doesn't get dry at the end of the day. Also I have deep tan cool undertone and Almond is a good enough match, I wish they had a better color range for us women of color.

Mascara -Stila -HUGE Extreme Lash Mascara

My favourite mascara ever. It makes my eyelashes look huge and voluminous. I don’t have problems with it flaking, although I do sometimes get some smudging if I’m not careful with my setting sprays (I’ve taken to applying my setting spray prior to applying this mascara and it has greatly improved this issue). This is my all time favourite mascara and I will definitely buy again.

Eye Shadow -Stila -Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow

This product is great as a topper for your eyeshadow looks. So glittery and beautiful while also being easy to work with. I love not having to worry about fallout. I have the shade kitten karma and it is the most beautiful peachy glitter shade. Would definitely recommend. Took one star off because the price is a little steep.

Eyeliner -Stila -Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner

Not much to say about this that hasn't already been said...excellent eyeliner that came highly recommended and for a good reason: it lasts easily over 12 hours without any smudging or transfer, regardless of how hot or humid my surroundings are (and yes even on very oily skin folks, believe me when I say that nobody has oilier skin then I did several years back!) and yet somehow still easy to remove at the end of the night. Also one of the very few liquid eyeliners that doesn't cause my eyes to sting and water as I react to most brands I've used in the past. I have this in both 'Carbon Black' and 'Alloy' shades and love them both. HG!
