Love their polishes! They have all types of finishes for everyone, depending on your taste. I personally like cream finish polishes. I will repurchase.
The formula (perfect consistency), color staying power, and longevity CAN'T be beat, no matter what the price range! Also a huge selection of shades and fun names.
But...the price. I know it's mid-range price-wise, but I still wouldn't be able to afford buying nail polish if all of them were $7-9 a pop.
Im not sure which opi it was exactly but it was a light pink, and I don't know why but this is the 2nd time that I got this color, and it has faded to like the same color as my real nails. I chose pink because its BRIGHT and FUN. Instead it has faded to a pale and dull color. I wont be applying it again, and this makes me wonder if a lot of their other colors do this.
The ONLY nail polish brand I use. I know many people are not a big fan of spending too much on a nail polish ( I was the same), but since I discovered OPI I never look back to purchase cheap nail polish again.
The shades from OPI are gorgeous, the finish is so shining, the product is so durable (the polishes that I purchased 3 years ago are not even close to dry out!!!) so it definitely worth the price.
I just came to live in North America and I found that the OPI collection here is SO MUCH cheaper than New Zealand, $25 NZD for one bottle (approx. $21CAD/USD) and so as many other cosmetic brands. I'm looking to purchase more shades when summer comes.

PROS: I don't know a lot about polishes, but I know what is easy for me to apply at home and what lasts on my nails. And this does both well. Large enough variety of colors to make me happy.
CONS: A little pricey, but it's worth it to me.
ALTERNATES: I like China Glaze, almost as much.

I was first introduced to OPI in salons when I would get a manicure. I always thought they were a bit expensive, so I opted to buy drugstore brands of nail polish. This Christmas, I found the Serena Williams set (Simply Smashing gold with Black Crackle) for 60% off at a salon. I bought it and am really pleased with the results. It only took 2 coats to get a good colour and it dried pretty quickly. I also did dishes, baked a pie, cooked a turkey, and did housework all without wearing gloves and my nail polish held up well. It's barely chipped.
I'll definitely be buying OPI again.

I personally love OPI nail polishes. They're always my go-to nail polishes! But I also think it really depends on which formula and which color that works for me. Such as right now I have "Nail Envy" as base and "The World is Not Enough" on my nails and it has stayed on for quite a while. But I find that "I Juggle Men" chips right after it dries on my nails for some reason. So it really depends. The price is pretty expensive but for a big bottle and good quality polish it's pretty worth it. And it also has a pretty long shelf life I find. I got Black Onyx at least two years ago and it still works perfectly fine. Packaging is always the classic OPI bottles and I love how it looks. It just looks classy in my opinion. I will definitely repurchase when I see a unique color especially when I get a discount (sometimes I find them for buy two get one free in a local salon).
I have been using OPI for years. The first product I tried was the Nail Envy which made me stop biting my nails. I then started purchasing the nail colours and now own over 50 of them. They are expensive in Australia but I buy them on my regular trips to the USA which is a fraction of the price. The colours are all so beautiful, I could go on about this forever but to sum it up its my HG nail colour brand and never disappoints me.

These products expire very fast for me, I live in "normal" weather. It seems like after 2-3 months the nail polish becomes very chunky and glompy. The nail polish itself worked okay for me, but nothing special. I like the huge aray of colors that they have though.. I don't understand why I am paying 50 bucks for something I wont be able to use until the end because it'll expire. For me, I prefer drug store mini-bottles if cheap 99 cent nail polish instead of these fancy nail polishes, which kind of says something.
Let me join the ranks of OPI lovers. I never used to paint my nails, but decided to try an OPI. Wow - went on smoothly, dried fairly soon, no chips yet.
I paid ten bucks thru a local salon and it did take months for her to get the wanted shade, but I'm very happy with it and feel it was worth the money.
