I have very dry hands, especially during winter. It did not help me, bad smell and it didn't absorb well.

This creme had some moisture that softened the surface of my hands, but it did not absorb well into the skin. I felt the grease on my hands for a long time so it was hard to move on with the daily duties. It actually felt like if I had a thin layer of wax on that gave me a dry and very uncomfortable feeling, it's hard to describe. I don't like the smell either and maybe that is my main problem, it's too strong and reminds me of a heavy cream for old ladies. The tube that it comes in has a good size for hand bags, but it's not very fancy to look at, it looks like a Swiss Alpe product from the 80s. I would not buy this again.

This review is for the "Arnica Essential Cold Weather Hand Balm" - I know the product name has changed since the first review but not certain this is the new version.
This is non-greasy and intensively moisturizing. I find the subtle vanilla-y scent pleasant and not very strong. I wish this was mineral oil free but because it transforms parched crinkly hands into smooth glowing ones, I'll live with it.
The price is moderate but as we know Yves Rocher has regular, generous sales.
Perfect format for the purse - small, plastic squeeze tube with flip top cap.
This stuff is great.

My hands get horribly chapped in the winter, they get little bumps, crack and bleed. My continual hand washing, is also a contributing factor to the horrible state that my hands are in.
This particular day I was in the mall, and my hands felt uncomfortably dry. I just happened to walk by the Yves Rocher store, and for the first time ever I went in to look.
I tried a little bit of this on my hands, before the SA came over and recommended that I should try it and I am glad that I did.
I find that this hand lotion is not too thick or greasy, and it has a nice consistency and I really like the vanilla-y scent. I can notice a definite difference in the look and state of my hands, they are much softer, the rough patches from over-washing are becoming much smoother and the overall look and feel of my hands is improving. I definitely recommend this product, to anyone who over-washes their hands or gets very badly chapped hands in the winter!

Very good moisturising hand cream and i got it as a free gift so price was very good(free!!)but....I hate the smell. It's not even a bad smell, kinda floral and strong, but I hate it with a passion so still have some of this left and I only use it when theres no other hand cream. I would recommend this to those who can stand the smell.

It's a very rich cream. It leaves a sheen on my hands (mineral oil is the second ingredient) and be warned, it's quite fragranced, too. It sort of smells like CK One and some kind of floral to me. I like to use this when my hands are especially dry, like in the winter time.

The name of this product has changed in 2006 (if I remember correctly). It is now called Restorative Hand Balm. It comes in a 50ml - 1.7 fl.oz. tube that is easy to carry in a purse or keep in the office desk. I find it really moisturizing and I use it mostly before going to bed and during winter as it's really good in healing dry hands. It is fragranced but it fades after a while so it's not too annoying. I suggest you buy it when it's on sale at 50% off or 2 for 1 since the regular price is $11 CAN. Those who don't want to use mineral oil and petrolatum in their hand cream should avoid this product.

I keep repurchasing this hand cream. I have several other hand creams, but since I've found this one, I don't use the others anymore. Especially effective if you sleep in it with cotton gloves on, but even if you don't, very moisturizing and not greasy.

This is the only hand lotion I've tried that actually clears up my dry hands. The smell is not too strong or too annoying that you can't live with it. I like that it is not greasy and absorbs quickly. Definite repurchase. Got it for $3 CAN too, so not too bad for such a great product.

Great hand cream! Very moisturizing and mild scent. It seems always to go on sale or be half off at Yves Rocher, so it's a steal.
