Fragrances -Yves Rocher -Moment de Bonheur

I was simply looking for something that smelled like Chloe EDP and have found my new signature scent. This is absolutely beautiful. This is Chloe without the soapiness.

Eye Makeup Remover -Yves Rocher -Pur Bleuet Express Eye Makeup Remover

on 8/26/2018 1:07:00 PM

Hands down the best eye makeup remover for me! I have a very oily sensitive acne prone skin, the worst skin type you can imagine. My skin reacts to just about everything in this world, even baby oil caused me tiny bumps around my eyes when I used them as a remover BUT this one right here never irritates my eyes or the skin around it. it is just THE BESTTTT!!! I hope Yves Rocher will never stop making this or reformulate this. Brands nowadays keep reformulating their product ingredients in hope for the better, but that just ruined everything.

Treatments (Eye) -Yves Rocher -Riche Creme Comforting Anti-Wrinkle Eye Creme

I haven't wrote a review here in years (always postponing) but when I saw this one I had to write it now, cause I don't know what all the rave reviews are about, and I bought one based on the MUA reviews (which i always trust) but I found it to be nothing special at all, yeah it hydrates (basic thing to expect from a moisturiser) and that's it, don't expect it to do anything for the tiny fine lines, nothing special at all so don't waste your money.

Shampoo -Yves Rocher -Low ShamPoo Delicate Cleansing Cream

on 8/11/2018 2:35:00 AM

Context: tropical & humid climate, urban, active lifestyle, thick, long hair -- so I have to wash my hair everyday.

I got this shampoo because I was tired of my hair getting dandruff every other week, its 'hard' texture and just generally unruly (my hair is not totally straight but also not totally wavy). I also wanted to stay from the silicones, parabens, and other chemicals classified as 'harmful' as far as possible. Immediately after the first use, my hair was significantly softer and smoother. Since I was testing this out, I did not use conditioner as I read that some do not use conditioners, and also that I haven't found a replacement conditioner. For four weeks I used this shampoo without conditioner and here are some observations: (i) overall, my hair has become smoother and softer than I remember; (ii) my hair hasn't been frizzy, although the ends were still drier -- problem solved with argan oil; (iii) less hair fall overall; (iv) the scent is slightly sweet, but not overwhelming (I find strong scents disgusting); and (v) my scalp itches if I don't wash my hair every day.

I was quite surprised that my scalp started itching a week into using the shampoo, but that feeling goes away after every wash, particularly if I increase the quantity used. As it is quite hard to estimate the quantity, I vary the amount by how my scalp feels, but I do have to use a lot more than one large coin size -- which depletes the 200ml really quickly. However, it got quite unpleasant in the third and fourth week because something kept triggering the itch (sweat, heat, build-up?) when it is warm (by tropical standards). At one point, I kept scratching my head at work, and realised that it had gotten quite bad, although there was very little dandruff. I also noticed that my scalp had started peeling. I tried the Lush New hot oil treatment and the itch went away for a few days, so I am trying the Lush New shampoo for the time being.

The verdict for this shampoo is inconclusive for me. It is highly likely that I will re-purchase to use if I have to wash my hair twice a day, and also if the Lush shampoo gets too dry. But I hope to find out soon if the itchy feeling was due to dryness, build-up, or that it is unsuitable for me.

Lotions/ Creams -Yves Rocher -Plaisirs Nature Silky body lotion- Vanille Bourbon

on 8/10/2018 11:38:00 AM

This lotion saved me when I stayed in a dry-climate country for a month. It is moisturising without being oily. I also like the vanilla scent very much. I think they changed the formula, because the recent ones are more viscous and more difficult to pour out of the bottle. However, as I've found a much better alternative (Lush's Sleepy lotion), I'll be keeping this product as back-up only.
