I can't give this a rave review until I actually get out there and use it, but I always try these products on before putting them to use in the real world. I just got back from Palm Springs and used the Coppertone SPF 30 Continuous spray. I liked how convenient it was and it was very effective - no burning. However I hated the alcohol smell and dryness, although it did give a sleek moisturized look if you used it sparingy. However as others have stated it lasted about a week and went into the garbage at the end of the trip with everyone else's bottle. So that's not good value.
I knew I wanted a spray for my next trip (just around the corner and somewhere hot again) and so I bought this. It's paraben free and says it's an ultra light mist with non-greasy finish. It sprays out ultra fine and cool. It applied nicely and finished to a super soft velvet touch. I can't even tell I have it on. I like the smell - it's light and kind of beachy...it reminds me of Australia, maybe for that reason. I trust that it will do as good a job as coppertone with providing enough sun protection. This product has the recommendation of the Canadian Dermatological Association.
I'll have to see how long the canister lasts. Unlike the Coppertone it doesn't spray out in a huge area. Oh I also bought a bottle of Kinesys Oil-Free SPF 30 Spray so I'm going to write a review on that too.
