The picture online this eyeshadow looks brown. This is a smokey gunmetal purple. It swatches like a dark purple on my hand. On my skintone (applied on my eyes), its a gunmetal dark grey with a slight purple twinge. nonetheless, I really like this color. It applies well too, there a little fall out but I can fix that right away. Little goes a long way as well...i just used a dot to cover the entire lid.
