I bought this moisturizer hoping it wouldn't bother my skin. It didn't have cyclopentasiloxane in it so I thought I'd be safe. The moisturizer triggered my cystic acne and also gave me breakouts on my cheeks. Only new thing in my routine. Also not very good for moisturizing as my skin felt dry within an hour of putting it on.

I used to use Clinique DDMG, then changed to Philosophy Hope in a Jar Oil-free. They didn't moisturize that well and I got a lot of whiteheads with them. I switched to this and my flakies went away, as well as the pimples! I still get deep hormonal cysts once in a while, but my skin is so much better! I use this in the day under my sunscreen and foundation, and the Ultra Repair Cream at night.

I probably won't purchase this again. I do like it but I find myself using about 4 to 5 pumps of it to feel a bit moisturized & I noticed it doesn't last long. I start to feel dry after a while during the day. The Ultra Repair Cream is too heavy for me to use during the day which is why I tried this. Its a small bottle so using the amount I have been will make me go through it like mad. I don't think this product is for me. continued >>

This moisturizer is awesome. I've been using it for over a year, and I can't imagine having to part with it. I have oily skin, monstrous pores, and the occasional acne spot (I always get the ones that are huge and deep down and painful). To make things worse, I get eczema around my nose and on my eyelids if I'm not careful with what I use.
I initially got this because I was having an eczema flare-up and the Clinique moisturizer I was using burned horribly when I applied it. Within a few days, the redness had subsided and I was no longer itchy! I thought I might break out because of the dimethicone in this, but I haven't experienced any more acne or blackheads than I did before (if anything, my skin has improved, even though I abuse it with forgetting to wash my makeup off at night sometimes).
One bottle lasts me about 7-8 months. One pump is enough for my whole face, two every once in a while if I'm feeling extra dry. I use it every morning and night. I wear foundation with sunscreen in it, so I don't mind that this lacks SPF. I actually prefer it that way since I am allergic to chemical sunscreens in most moisturizers.

OK I'm hooked on this stuff. I have very sensitive and dry skin, and this moisturizer has really helped calm down my complexion. The only cons for me are the size of the bottle (only lasts me about a month, using four pumps for my face and neck twice a day), and the fact that it's very lightweight. I have to add about four drops of the Josie Maran Argan Oil to keep my skin happy.
Other than that, it's very calming and keeps the redness down to a minimum!

At first I thought I had found my holy grail moisturizer -- it was lightweight enough for my oily skin, doesn't have the parabens or other chemicals I try to avoid in my daily beauty regimen, and the price wasn't too terrible. I also like that it comes in a pump bottle. However, I don't think this product can rightfully claim to be non-comedogenic. Compare the list of ingredients against a list of known comedogens and several items will pop up, starting with the second ingredient (glyceryl stearate SE) and including cetyl and cetearyl alcohol. Not everyone's skin reacts to the same ingredients, of course, but this was behind the awful cystic acne I was getting. As soon as I switched to a dermatologist recommended moisturizer that's truly non-comedogenic and only a few bucks more expensive, my skin cleared up. Pass on this -- not worth the possible pimples!

I'm currently using my 3rd bottle of this! I love it a lot! Very basic moisturizer and great on my oily, sensitive, and acne prone skin. It doesn't clog my pores, doesn't irritate my skin, just simply moisturizes! I find that when I use this along with the cleanser also from First Aid Beauty, it minimizes the redness of my acne marks, so I'm loving that! I love this moisturizer & the cleanser! First Aid Beauty is a really really good brand for people with sensitive skin. Although it is kinda expensive for how much you get (2oz for $18) I think it's worth investing in. I would buy it again and again! continued >>

Best gentle, facial moisturizer for acne-prone skin. It helps with oiliness and doesn't clog pores. Along with Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, this cleared up all my acne in 1 month.

I have sensitive, combination-to-oily, acne prone skin. I have to be very cautious about wat I use to moisturize my face with. After I started using this moisturizer, my face started to look more luminous and even toned. However, the more I used it te more I started to feel a slight burning sensation. And, I started to see little red, inflammed bumps appear and it was making my face look oilier than normal. .
I eventually stopped using it.I And, I don;t ever plan to repurchase it again.

This is the best moisturizer I've ever used! I really like this brand. I tried their Ultra Repair cream and liked it, but it did clog my pores. I have sensitive skin and a lot of things do though. I tried the Daily Face Cream and I LOVE IT! Doesnt clog my pores, works great on my skin, and can lay under makeup without a problem. Resolved my flakey skin issue as well. LOVE this stuff. The only downside is the price for the amount you get. Kind of pricy. I wish they made a bigger container of this.

By far and away the BEST moisturizer I have ever used!!! I have a terrible combination of skin problems ranging from rosacea, sensitive, acne-prone, blackheads, and unusually dry this winter (mostly on my cheeks). I have been searching for a light moisturizer that will not break me out but that will actually take care of any flakes that I have. This moisturizer seems to be made for sensitive yet acne-prone skin. It has several anti-irritants in it and no pore cloggers. I am so excited to have found this line! My skin is not red or flaky anymore and actually feels smooth and looks clear. It is $18 at Sephora but it takes the TINIEST amount to cover dry areas so it will last a long time. Please take it from me, this is worth trying if you need a little extra moisturizer but have sensitive or acne-prone skin. I wish I had found this a long time ago!!!!

I like it. I don't LOVE it the way I love the FAB face wash, but it really doesn't make me break out, when most everything else in the world does. It's just enough moisture for an acne-prone moisture-phobe. But I can see how it might not be enough for really dry skin. (Unlike most reviewers, I don't go for the stuff in the jar - I don't even like that on my body!) Some say "Why bother if it doesn't have SPF?" I say this is just right under mineral powder.

I may buy this product again. I think it helped to heal my over-exfoliated skin recover from red patchiness and acne. I still had acne but they would heal faster than normal. It helped to moisturize my skin and contains ceramide-3 which is used in many high-end creams for helping the skin to repair itself as a barrier to environmental stressors. It also contains licorice which helps with skin lightening and anti-inflammation. I like that it has antioxidants. However I don't like that it has 'cones (dimethicone, etc) and some ingredients that seem like pore cloggers, even though it's touted as "non-comedogenic." Not sure if it contributed to some cystic acne and continued acne spots; possibly, that's why I stopped using it. Cysts went away but then again that may be attributed to the fact that I started modifying my diet rather than just stopping the product. I cannot say for sure.
The product is dermatologist recommended, which is a good thing. The packaging is a pump-style with no cap. Wish it had a cap. But otherwise is convenient and light-weight to carry. Currently I am just trying to give my acne-prone skin a break from most products and re-normalize.

I bought this at Sephora when I was looking for an oil-free, lightweight moisturizer for my bf. His skin is very acne prone and gets oily during the day. He already uses an Olay SPF 30 that he uses during the day, so I needed something for him to use at night.
This lotion is so lightweight and sinks in the skin immediately. I was actually surprised when I tried in on in store. This is an oily skin's dream. The consistency is very thin and will not leave you shiny while you wait for it to absorb.
What also attracted me to it in the end was the price. At only $18, it is a steal! I purchased this on the spot. My bf uses it every night and says he loves it.
I will definately repurchase. continued >>

This stuff left my face feeling t*i*g*h*t! What a disappointment -- I use the Ultra Repair Cream like it's going out of style and had eagerly awaited FAB's version of a daily moisturizer. I will expand this review later but, for right now, know this much:
- no SPF; consistency is creamy but lightweight; dries almost matte
- product claims to be safe for sensitive skin; I believe this to be true, if only because my skin is crazy-sensitive and I saw/felt no hint of irritation
- bought at Sephora for $18(?); packaged in opaque pump bottle
- my disappointment has everything to do with the fact that my skin is extremely dry (but combo too); I had to put another layer of moisturizer on less than 15 minutes later, mainly to help with the tight feeling
- this could be great on someone with a different skin type (but no spf...why bother?)
- FAB Ultra Repair Cream is sort of a HG for me; maybe this new product could never have lived up to my expectations.
