I love this product. The only thing I have problems with is the "special" nail polish the lady talked me in to buying. She said it was the best for the nail wheels because it is a thicker consistency. I find it's too think to work with and it doesn't transfer well on to the stamper. If you buy this, don't waste your money on the Konad brand polishes. Any polish would work better. (My personal favorite is OPI Alpine Snow.)

ARGH I accidentally clicked backspace and my entire review was lost. Sigh :( Okay, again. Abbreviated.
I first ran across these a few years ago at a mall kiosk in Houston, and thought they were kind of cool but gimmicky and not worth the money. Fast forward a few years and that has suddenly changed! I am a polish minimalist, always keeping my nails clear or french manicured. Most of the time I think of colored nails as tacky, but that's because I see gunky, chipped colors on dry, nailbitten hands [ugh] in gaudy colors and designs. But sometime recently I started running across pictures of pretty nails [thank you MUA!] and started thinking maybe colors weren't so bad. Then came the designs. Then came the [re?]discovery of nail stamps.

Fascinated, within a few days I had ordered the double sided stamper and two plates - m15 and m57 - from wowsocool [no affiliation] because of the free shipping over $20 and retailmenot coupons. They also have 'kits' but I didn't feel they were so worth it if you weren't into the plates offered. It arrived in less than a week. I also ordered two plates off of eBay, as there are MANY more designs. quality is not AS good, but 90-95% is perfectly acceptable. My white polish needs to be thickened up, as it shows up kind of watery and smeary, but my brand new, thin shimmer polishes come out crisp and quite opaque.

Most people here suggest using a plastic card intead of the metal scraper, but I find that leaves it smeary and takes off too much polish from the design itself. I guess I'm doomed to have scratched up plates. The possibility of messing up is always there, but these are very easy to use. So much fun for random, fun nail designs! I'm heading back to Houston for a wedding and looking forward to doing everyone's nails!
I most likely won't be purchasing any more plates, as these are plenty for fun and I am not a hardcore nail person :)

A drunken monkey can make this look really good. Very easy to do. My nailstamping system is not the Konad one, but some very inexpensive plates and tools from Hong Kong. The images are crisp and clear, and it cost me almost nothing (about $23 for 1 double sided stamper, 1 one sided stamper, 1 xl plate and 2 smaller ones, two scrapers and two polishes, free shipping). I prefer to use my old nailpolishes for stamping, as they are thicker. And so called one-coaters are also good for this, works perfect! I voted YES to if I would buy it again, because I love this nail art system.

I'm a professional in my late 20's...I really can't wear nail polish to my work place...I've been on holiday for just a while now and saw this on MUA and decided to watch some YT videos that looked so easy!!! I recently purchased a Konad set and went wild with my 4 plates! lol! my hubby thinks i've lost it! %) But it gives some oomph to my nails and i feel lyk a teenager all over again with funky kewl nailz! :D For people looking to stand out in a crowd or being spoken to by random strangers...lol..this is ONE of the many ways! The set is totally fool-proof for beginners. The colour is good and lasts a week and i don't believe the rep when she says ONLY Konad polishes work for stamping. I'm sure we can use other thick matte polishes too! Will do so soon and post pics! :)

I have 2 plates and 1 polish, which isn't really that much. I'm going to buy more later, because nail-art have never been as easy and quick! People always ask how I've done my nails! Thumbs up for easy, quick and good looking nail-art!

Konad is undeniably a little steep price wise.. But if you think about it it's worth it as the plates are obviously reusable as opposed to going to a salon, or buying decals. There is a bit of a learning curve, it feels a little difficult at first but there are plenty of Youtube tutorials to help you. For me it was practice to make "perfect" and to understand the need to work quickly.

In my own opinion I think some people easily over do it with these, I find them much more aesthetically pleasing as an accent or subtle design, as opposed to say a cartoon character on each finger nail. But that is personal preference!

These compared to the cheaper "knock off" version - are far better quality. I watched many reviews of cheaper one (I think one called Salon Express) and the details were not as finely etched or elegant. Also the scraper didn't work as well. Check out comparison videos before you decide sometimes a higher price really is worth it!

Overall I am a fan and find it entertaining to experiment with!

Nail art was never so Easy and Fun Before Konad Stamping By Born PrettyStore
To tell you the truth , i am not much into nail art before . It was even hard for me to apply the nail polish properly sometimes ( i am not joking Seriously ) so you can very well understand my creative skills when it comes to nail art. But i took this Konad stamping experience as a dare to myself and IT WAS SOOO MUCH FUN.
Although konad stamping is a great fun but It wasn't so easy in the beginning . Timing is very important. You need to work quickly and transfer the design into stamp and then to your nails before letting the nail polish dry .. But you can learn it after few tries. Second is you need to find the nail polish suitable for konad stamping. There are special nail polishes for it but i don't have any so i use the old nail polishes which are quite thick in consistency. Another important point is to keep a nail polish remover with you . You need to clean the design plate and stamp after every use if you are trying different colors and in the end its better to wash the design plate with running water to remove the remaining s of nail polish remover.
Overall , i just love my BornPrettyStore Konad Stamping Kit.

I LOVE KONAD! I thought it looked too complicated on You Tube videos so I didn't look into it further. Thank goodness I had a kiosk in my mall and I got to try it. SO Easy!
I was also looking into getting the bundle monster nail art plates from Ebay, but the Konad's are better quality. I've read many reviews on the bundle monster ones, and people say the Konad plates are eaiser to use. I never used to paint my nails, but in the year I've had Konad I always have painted nails. So much fun! Also I found the full nail designs are easier than the smaller ones when just starting out.

I found out about this when I was watching youtube videos on how to paint your nails, it looked amazing! So I did some shopping on amazon, for the plates, I actually didn't buy konad brand, but bundle monster instead and they work great! I think konad is around 8 dollars with S&H for just 1 plate, and bundle monster was for 17.99 with S&H for 21 plates! So I would recommend getting those. They work wonderfully! I bought the konad black and white polish which work great also. I tried to use regular polish just to save me some money since the polishes are about 7 bucks a piece, but they did not transfer. This is a really awesome idea, so much cheaper than going to the salon which usually charge about 20 bucks just to get your nails painted! Using this you would never guess that you did your own nails, given you do a decent job of it. First time I tried it I made a mess so you have to practice a little bit before hand. Since I have gotten pretty good at this (always let your base colored nails dry completely before you stamp! I learned the hard way!), I have gotten lots of compliments and people always ask me where I get my nails done or actually think I work at a salon! I would totally recommend these if you are into nail art and want to save money! continued >>

A little overpriced. A bunch of cheaper knockoffs on ebay that do the same job. People who aren't nail savvy are mind boggled by my artistic talent. Even guys ask me how I do my nails. Takes me 3 minutes to do all 10 nails. Konad revolutionizes nail art.

I started out with the s set but have since added 10 plates and plan on getting so many more.
I am still not good at those full nail images but I am learning.
I have flower pattern from plate m4 on my nails now :)
I can't wait to use it more.
SOO glad I got it. I found a kiosk at the mall near me that sells konad, so I can just run to the mall if the mood strikes for a new plate.
I promised my one cousin I would buy her a set for her upcoming birthday.

I just recieved my Konad Plates about 2 hours ago and I'm already obsessed! ^.^ I got plates # 57 and #64 and I really love 57.
I was debating whether I should get the "special polish" or not. But I didn't. Instead I used an old black nail polish from Sally Hansen that started getting gloopy.
I suggest getting the double sided stamper it's way easier.
it's well worth the money and will save you a lot ! considering the salons would charge like 20-25?

Ever since I bought my first plate I've been hooked. I now have five plates and intend to get more. I very rarely do my nails without adding a design, it's addictive!

I looove my Konad set! I only have a starter set, but I will be getting new plates soon! I do my nails usually 1-2 times a week, and I have been using Konad every time. It is extremely easy to use. Just make sure your base color is completely dry when you use the stamp. I am completely obsessed with the Konad and I can't wait to get my plates. The designs stay on my nails for a long time with no chipping. I definitely recommend this for anyone who likes to do their own manis. Also I bought mine off of Amazon for much cheaper than what is sold on their site. :)

I'm in love with konad. I'm using it alot and I just recently got two new plates, I can't wait to try them out. Not a 100% happy with the konad special polishes though so I'm going to try and use other nail polishes instead.

I loved this product I still buy konad supplies and i love my nails. They are way better than stamps or stickers. By the way you can use other nail polish's for it besides the konad nail polish.

I LOVE KONAD! I've been using the system for two years and I seriously do my nails like every other day just so I can put a new design on them. I've got it down to about 30 minutes from base coat to top coat. A couple of things, some special polishes are better than others..for example, dark brown and forest green princess polishes didn't work so well for me but all of the others have. Also, I can't find information on whether they test on animals so I will use what I've purchased but will look elsewhere for polishes that I can use for Konad that are known to be cruelty free. Also, as far as technique, I use tweezers to hold a cotton square dipped in acetone to clean my image plate, scraper, and stamper so that I don't have to mess up my nails while using konad.

i love being able to quickly do designs on my nails, however, i found a couple issues with it. its hard to see where you're placing the design on the nail. also, you can't do mirror images on each hand. the plates don't get completely clean again no matter how hard you clean them with nail polish remover. it's great for doing quick designs and much cheaper than going to a salon every couple of weeks for a manicure. great product other than for the few issues i mentioned.
