I purchased this eyelash curler back in 1997. I never really even thought about it because I am a "If it ain't broke dont fix it" kind of gal. Well I just found out that because I have used the same curler for now what... 17 years, and have not purchased another... It is fairly odd. Here is my reasoning behind why I still have this Kaboodle looking thing.First off I purcased it because when it is squished it fits anywhere a tube of lipstick will fit. And at the time it did fit into my Kaboodle. It was purple which I thought was cool, and it was cheap. Now I am in my mid 30's and I still have this same curler. It gets used regularly, and besides the odd pinch once in a while, I am still fairly happy with it.It has been though over 18 moves (packing and trips) at least. Not even a little chip or tear.

I don't know if I got a bad one or if this has happened to anyone else, but this eyelash curler basically chopped my eyelashes in half! There must have been a rough area or sharp area that wasn't polished enough on the metal part, & imagine how horrified I was when I used it on my one eye & see that my lashes were chopped in half about halfway across my lashline! And this brand is affordable & all, but at the same time it isn't like it's some dollar store no name brand or something like that. If you're looking for an affordable drugstore curler, go with a Revlon one-they're only about a dollar or two more than this one, last a really long time, & I've never had any issues with them.

If you want God tier eyebrows, you need these tweezers in your life. I have two pairs. That's how great they are. I've used other types of tweezers, but none of them have a grip like these. They grab every single hair you reach for. The slant really makes a difference. And they even have grip pads for a more comfortable grip. I've never used tweezerman tweezers, but I can't imagine them being better than these LA Cross tweezers. And $22 for some tweezers? Pffft. Get yourself LA Cross tweezers instead.

I never thought to review this before but when seeing what others had to say I want to add my two cents worth. This is something I never would hesitate to repurchase. It doesn't feel coarse and irritating as you file. It makes a pleasant exp out of filing your nails - and it looks nice too.

Even though this is all-metal and is has a nice heft, it just isn't sharp enough to trim my cuticles. Totally useless. The one I lost was a cheap plastic one I got at the 98 cents store and it worked great. I paid $8 for this one at CVS. Going back to the 98 cent store.
