I bought this kit before reading the reviews on here. I was afraid to use this once I did read them, especially since I purchased the golden honey color and usually try for platinum highlights.
I figured it was worth a try anyway because I was just putting in a couple highlights and was hoping the golden honey would not be as damaging as bleaching to a white-blonde shade. This was very …

trust me this product is awful, i tried it based on good reviews here. I have medium brown hair and used the toasted almond, my highlights come out a burnt orange color, i had a flaskback of being 14 and trying to dye my hair blonde.

I had to run out to the drugstore today and color my hair in full.. thankfully it colored the orange highlights.. I used a medium brown.

Dont …

Hey! This stuff save me $80! My stylist actually does highlights the "paint on" way instead of foils, and about 70% of the time it comes out very nice. The other times, however, it is uneven and brassy. But he was charging me $60 to do it, so... Anyway, last time it came out gorgeous but he charged me $90!! Uhhh... no way I'm paying that again! So after debating all-over color …Read more

I've highlighted my hair for 15 years now. I've tried many different products. I've always achieved the best results with Loreal products, my favorite was Loreal Feria for a long time. But recently I decided to try out the Loreal Styliste in Iced Champagne and was the results are amazing! My hair now has the most gorgeous baby blonde all-over highlights with no orange tint …Read more

I had colored my hair about 1-1/2 weeks before using the highlights, which helped keep my hair from feeling really dry at the ends. I like the fact that you brush on instead of using the cap - it is easier to place the product and follow the natural wave of your hair (if you have them like I do). I had a bit of difficulty putting the same amount of product on each strand - a few areas seem to …Read more

Sometimes it can get very confusing in picking out haircolor/highlighting kits in the regular store. The colors and models always look great, but that doesn't mean you will look like that once you get the product home and put it on your hair. Everything depends on what your personal haircolor, texture, prior haircolor products already on your hair, etc. That's why the companies …Read more

I used this product because after my previous disasters with at-home highlights and had to go to a professional to have my hair dyed back to my original color (twice!) but for some reason I was brave enough to try at-home highlighting again. This time I tried the L'Oreal Hi-Light Styliste in the hot pink box (I choose the "Creamy Carmel" highlighting color). The applicators are …Read more

I've been using home color and highlighting kits for years. I really like this one a lot. I won't use the caps -- too hard and I like to see where on my haircut the highlights are going. I have medium brown hair and use the creamy caramel color. I leave them on for a full 30-35 minutes. I get lovely golden blonde highlights. A tip for those that have gotten orange -- when lifting …Read more

I found the reviews really helpful before actually using this product so in return I wanted to get my own review up pretty quickly--i highlighted my hair about 8 hours ago. My hair is dark-medium blonde with some natural and some very old sun in produced highlights. I used the Honey Blonde color. Did the strand test for 30 minutes with zero results. I swear it didn't even change like half a …Read more

I had colored my 25% grey hair 2 weeks previously with L'oreal's Natural Match 6W Light Golden Brown, which should have matched the color it was at the time and colored the greys. Well,it did color the greys, but it ended up a good couple of shades darker than I wanted and just looked really flat. Usually I have my hubby do my hair for me, but he wasn't home at the time and I just …Read more
