The best – but most expensive – exfoliant I've ever used! Most others irritated my skin, caused breakouts or did nothing.

You apply a thin layer onto dried cleansed skin, let dry for a minute then rub off with fingertips, holding the skin taut as you do this. Rinse off, towel dry.

Surprisingly afterwards my skin was not irritated and had a definite glow. Very soft …

This is the best exfoliant I have ever used. I was reluctant to buy it, even though my beautician has been using it on me forever but I am so glad I did! All previous exfoliants were either too harsh or they didn't remove all dry flakes from my now normal skin. It took me three applications to get it right - first I tried to remove it too soon when it wasn't completely dry so it was …Read more

I purchased this after using the Sothys line back in beauty school and loving the facials we performed. However, I was not really wowed by this product at all until today when I had a bad case of dryness caused by benzoyl peroxide. This completely removed my dryness and flakes. I like that it is gentle enough for acne prone skin and contains no harsh abrasives.

On my second bottle of this now. It takes a while to get the technique right. You apply a thinnish layer and wait about a minute for it to dry before rubbing it off. I usually wash and dry my hands after the initial rubbing and then resume to get a better result.
I often find exfoliants far too harsh for my face as the rough particles irritate my skin but this causes minimal irritation …

This is an ok non abrasive exfoiliant. A friend gave it to me as it wasnt working for her, My skin does feel softer after i use it and really does unclog my pores. It is good but not great, I have very dry skin and i feel i do need something with a grain in it to really polish my skin, i would not buy this again purely for the price.

Its a great exfoliant which did not cause ay breakouts or damage to my skin. Its like a clay mask and needs to wait for it to dry before rubbing it off. However, I don't use it more than once a week for fear of rubbing off much of my skin.

I fell in love when I had my first Sothys facial. My skin was so soft afterwards without stripping my skin of moisture. It didn't upset my acne, in fact, I think it's really good for congested skin. Def something you need to keep up to see the benefit of wanting to keep buying it.

My esthetician carries this line and swears by it. Since I turned 42 my skin does not know if it wants to be oily or dry and this is one of those products that seems to work no matter what my skin is doing. Yes, it is somewhat labor intensive, but in looking in what rubs off my skin and falls into the sink - it appears to be working.

My skin is not abraded after use and since she is …

My esthetician swears my Sothys and now so do I. My mother and I have been using the gommage for years, it's a great exfoliant. It's different from others being that it's not abrasive in the least, goes on like a mud mask but once dry use your fingertips and rub it off taking all that dead skin with it. I use a cellulose sponge to rinse my face. Leaves my skin softer than any …Read more

I'm a bit undecided on this product. Unlike traditional scrubs, it has NO abrasives in it. It's basically a thick gummy gel you massage into skin, and massage and massage until it dissolves the dead skin so that when you rinse, your skin is smoother. This was used on me during a facial.
<p>I just can't get used to this though and it requires a LOT of rubbing before you …
