Bummer that I can only find this online. I use this on wet hair (excess water squeezed out first) then I add gel. I love that it is cone-free AND is gives me great curl definition.

I am not so thrilled with the scent. Smells like hospital grade soap. My husband likes the way it works but won't use it because of the smell - I am on the fence about it. I stop using it for a …

Out of all the pomades I have tried, this one is my favorite. The price is good and the product has a very nice, light scent. It isn't too waxy or oily or stiff, and it provides a fair amount of hold (especially if used on damp hair). Other pomades I have tried are either stiff waxes that make hair sticky, or oily with zero hold. I have very coarse, thick, wavy hair that tends to be dry …Read more

This pomade was recommended to me by acquaintances on a community board. It was easy to find at Sally's. The texture was pleasing (not greasy, goopy, or heavy), as was the scent (as overly perfumed and fruity smells are nauseating). Although it did not totally slick down my hair (considering my hair type - extremely thick, natural afro-textured hair), it did a great job of smoothing down …Read more

thisis a cheaper 'verison' of the Aveda Brilliant pomade, which i love... but to me, they just aren't that similar. they are both oily, but the Aveda doesn't really provide much hold. This aura pomade made my hair stiff and sticky. i might use a little for definition on the ends of dry hair, but it was a mistake to put it on damp hair.

I am in the process of locking my hair. I use this pomade to twist my roots after washing. It's pretty good and easy on the wallet.

This is a knock off of Aveda's Brilliant Humectant Pomade. It doesn't have that wild herbal scent that most of Aveda's line has, which is a plus. This pomade is mildly scented, and is a little greasy. Its an okay product, I prefer to use it on dry hair. Good alternative to the real thing, but not so impressed that I would buy it again.
