I'm so glad they made some of their ED Skinfinishes permanent. They are hands down the best highlighters on the market. If I buy new ones I want them to be as similar as possible to the mac ED SF.They are not as powdery as standard highlighters, a lot more reflecting and give a a wet look. Superb is a mix between rosé and peach. In my opinion very unique. If you're wondering how it compares to Mac's Tan pigment: Tan is more orange and brighter in colour, but less reflecting than Superb. You get a decent amount of product and while the price is rather high where I live (46 USD) it is without a doubt worth it. The only two critical points would be (1) the longevity, which is not the most outstanding and (2) the fact that it has *some* glitteriness to it. Not much really and definitely not anywhere near to for example Mac's Soft and Gentle but I can see why certain people might find that to be a dealbreaker. I personally hate glittery highlighters but it's so subtle with this one that it doesn't bother me.

This is a limited edition item from MAC. This is a very pretty pearly pink toned highlight but it doesn't work for me. I tend to like more golden highlights than pink ones.

I use this product as a highlighter, since I have Olive skin that is green-toned in the winter and more bronze and tan in the summer. I'm giving this a good review because I didn't expect to like it so much, especially since it's slightly pink-toned and that type of undertone can look terrible on me. However, I am really pleased with the product. This product is really soft and creamy in the pan, and is definitely pigmented. I rarely have to layer it on to get a nice sheen on the top of my cheekbones and other high parts of my face. I also use it in the inner corners of my eyes to open them up a little more. I can see how this product would be awesome on lighter-skinned people, but I have a medium skin tone and it also works well on me.For any tan or darker-skinned people, I would recommend swatching this on your skin first to see if the pink undertone will mesh well with your own undertone. This product, especially when blended in with a fluffy brush, doesn't show too much of a pink tone, which is why I think it could work for most undertones and skin colours. It gives off a noticeable but really flattering sheen wherever you put it, and it's one of the best highlighters I've ever used. Even if I don't repurchase this exact item, I would purchase one very similar to it (possibly with a more golden tone). I received this as a gift and I'm really glad for that as I would not have picked this colour up for myself. It has been a staple in my make-up collection and it's the only powder highlighter I have. Currently, I don't feel like I need another one. It does the job well and gives off a beautiful finish every time.

This is my first MAC product. I was looking for a shimmer powder and it looked lovely in the store when I tried it on my finger. But when I tried it at home, it was a struggle to even get the product on my brush and I couldn't even see it on my skin.

Bought this in magnetic appeal. I was lucky enough to find a Mac counter in my city that had 2 left.Freaking love this product. Since I have fair skin, it's sheer enough to act as a bronzer/blush. Perfect for summer, but i love it so much that i'd wear it all year round. The color is like a rosey/copper/gold color. I would say this has a sheen like effect. Not glittery or overly shimmer, but more like a sheen, if that makes sense. This definitely seems like a product fit for all skin times.

I actually use this as an eyeshadow! It gives my eyes a sultry bright look! So gorgeous. I find that it's a tad bit too ashy looking for my fair/medium skin tone.

My local MAC counter had a makeover event and as I was getting my makeup done, the artist decided to use the Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Double Definition on my NC45 skintone. I fell in love instantly. I'd been wanting to try out highlights and wanted to see how to go about applying it, and just seeing how applying it in certain areas really gave my skin a glow. I believe this shade was limited edition, but if I'm able to purchase this shade again, I'm snatching it up! It's a gorgeous color.

This is one of my fave highlighters from mac. The gold finish on my dark skin is absolutely amazing. In the summer months i wear it nearly every day. It fell and some of it broke but i still have been using it. I hope they re release it soon! Amazing color and finish. Nopainnobeauty.blogspot.com

I use this in Definitely Defined. It's soooo amazing! It's a highly shimmery illuminating cream-to-powder. The colour is silvery shimmer with a subtle rose-peachey undertone. I use it as a highlighter, applying some to my cheek bones and cupid's bow. It makes my skin look great, especially in photos- my face looks absolutely glowing! Apply it using your fingers or a smaller angled brush. It's a bit pricey and it's pretty much sold out everywhere (as it's a limited edition), but it's well worth the purchase. You only need a little bit too, so it'll last a while.
