the thing is- anyone (imho), who says this perfume is a wreck, really doesn't have the nose for it...it is that simple....
i quite understand the utter disgust people spread on this review site over this one, but (as usual), I kinda ignore the reviews written in a very subjective and kinda degrading way, thiogh I absolutely understand a common disliker of TT..
on me TT is a gorgeous perfume, that screams JASMINE (just like other Lush monster-LUST), but there's so much going on, that (as with other Lush perfumes)I'm looking forward to ride the Gorilla rollercoaster of developing on my skin...
a nuclear violet (just like the one in Stephen Jones's for CdG violet) emerges with a vulcanic, heated stems and vanilla cream...a weak but rich sandalwood and very prominent ylang-ylang...
later I can smell some vetyver, but on a very low pitched stage....
surely there must be some jasmin here, ..or....?hm...

after an hour, this becomes a very sexy, feminine scent,a very victorian violet...and it is creamy and beautiful indeed...
me gusto mucho...

I'm on the fence with this one because I also think it smells gross when I first put in on. For this first hour it goes through a couple of different phases on me which are disgusting. Like someone else said it starts out smelling like old man aftershave. After about 15 minutes the scent changes to something similar to urine mixed with perfume...barf!! However this is the worst of it as after about 45 minutes it settles into something soft and seductive. A very pleasing musky smell that I quite enjoy. I did say that I wouldn't repurchase because maybe isn't an option and I'm not sure I want to smell like an old man who peed his pants for the first part of my morning.

Another fragrance from Lush that seems to divide audiences. I quite like it because it is surprisingly edgy - especially in a Lush shop - and at the same time wearable as long as femininity is not the main criteria. I can sniff some lipstick-like violet and salty mimosa in it, together with vetyver, but in the end of the day, this is a fragrance that I perceive holistically and makes me want to sniff and sniff. It makes me think of some really dry, probably cracked red desert soil together with a salty breeze from a distance. There is something very earthy and grounding in it. This would make a good fragrance at a good price for fall, and I think I would wear it with a leather coat, and earthy colours combined with a turquoise or pastel blue scarf. It projects really well and the lasting power is very good. Unfortunately, the texture is too oily for my liking and I'm pretyy afraid of its dark, rusty colour on my skin.

Sampled this at the LUSH store when an associate at the Soho location offered to spritz my wrist. A few stores later I smelled something like bad body odor. It was my wrist. I tried to scrub it off with a makeup wipe and it wouldn't go away. Horrid :(

I really like the LUST and KARMA solids

I really wanted to love Tuca Tuca. After getting my LUSH times I went and purchased a massage bar. Initially, I thought it kind of smelled like a funeral home...BUT it is tolerable after it settles. This isn't my favorite LUSH scent, but I'll use it as a moisturizer after shaving.

I really like this one, i have a sample and i'm considering buying the atomiser next.

The perfume is very strong - only a drop or two last on me for at least 4-5 hours. It starts off with a blast of mimosa/almond that, after 30 minutes or so, leaves room for the vetivert and violet leaf, which play together for the rest of the time (and it's a long, languorous play :). What can i say - vetivert and violet are 2 of my favourite notes, so it's not surprising that i like it so much.
