Stridex Sensitive With Aloe

I’ve been using this as a toner after removing my makeup in the evenings for the last 2-3 weeks and have not experienced one new breakout! It seems to do a more effective yet gentler job removing those last traces of makeup and whatnot than the traditional toner/cotton ball combo. The price is also right. I will repurchase.

Triple Action Pads, Alcohol Free

This is a review for the red Stridex pads (the ones pictured in the above photo - mine doesn’t say “triple” anything on the package). I weirdly started suffering from bad breakouts on my chin and upper back, so I bought some Oxy pads which were so drying and heavily scented, and loaded with alcohol (why?). I wasn’t noticing any significant clearing of my acne and I started reading more about salicylic acid and learned that the Stridex red pads are the way to go because... something about the pH, I think the fact that they don’t contain any alcohol, keeps the salicylic acid effective. I’ve found these are much gentler than Oxy and while still a bit drying, not irritating. I am finally starting to notice if you were blemishes that tend to heal faster than they did before. One tub of this is going to last me ages because I only use one pad per day. It easily covers my nose and chin, and entire upper back.

Honestly just bought this at my local dollar general store for less than $4.00 so worth trying. I currently have scabs from previous cystic acne and some pimples all over my face. I used one pad, it did sting a small amount but that i expected as my face hates anything medicated. The aloe made my skin super soft and less red including my scabs so bonus there and so far no pimples. I can often times get them within hours of applying anything to my face. Fingers crossed these continue to work full time.
