Herbal Dual Wet & Dry Foundation

This was my favorite foundation for years. I love it! Covers everything well, wears well, easy to reapply throughout day without ever getting cakey, reasonably priced. However, the formula must have changed. I have bought several over the last year, and all of them are much darker and look orange when applied. I am heart broken and now need to look for a replacement. I used Laurel Nude. Hopefully the other colors are not affected similarly.

Once upon a time, when I used to do makeup everyday for work, I absolutely loved this product and somehow wound up purchasing like four of them at once (probably when Sally Beauty had some sale going on) and I had them sitting around when I stopped doing makeup for a while. Now that I am back on with doing makeup everyday for work, I have rediscovered these. The shade I use is Cypress Beige, which is slightly darker than my skin tone, but it is the best match I could find. When I want a quick base for my face, I use this in place of foundation and it does a good job of covering my flaws. I sometimes also use this over foundation as a finishing powder. The price is decent, especially when Sally Beauty has sales, and I would definitely repurchase once I finally use up the ones I got!

High Intensity Herbal Lip Balm

I picked this up in Red Rush at Sally's since it was on sale. It was a beautiful classic red that I really wanted to like, and it applied smoothly and evenly. The packaging seemed to be good quality as well. Unfortunately, my lips instantly burned when I put this on and I had to remove it. I'm giving this a lower rating since the company advertises the lip balm as being herbal, yet they included an unnecessary fake flavor in the ingredients (basically that strong crayola/synthetic vanilla smell in Maybelline and Covergirl lipsticks). I tried to scan the ingredients in the store before buying, but "flavor" was hard to see since the text was in small white letters over a clear cap. "Flavor" is also omitted from the ingredients on their website and in the photo provided already on here, which is misleading for those that may have allergies. It's not the company's fault I was allergic, but those that are commonly allergic to drugstore lipsticks should be careful with this since it's not as natural as it tries to seem. It appears to be a great formula for those that can handle it, but it wasn't for me.
