I love this curling iron. I have 2 sizes, 1.5 inches and 2 inches. I bought them 2 years ago and they still work. Before buying them, I had a conair ceramic curling iron, and it left my hair shiny, but the curls fell out after a few hours. This curling iron does leave my hair a little dry, but the curls last until I wash them out. It has a variety of heat settings, and it's worth the price, I bought them for about $30 each.

It's definitely lightweight and a tad bit quieter than my previous Revlon dryer. I bought mine through Ulta with a 20% off coupon. But comparing this to the GoldNHot "Professional Ultra-lightweight dryer with tourmaline" I cannot see any difference other than the Hot Tools brand wants much more $$ for what is essentially the same dryer in slightly different packaging (soft touch matte black with a black filter cover Vs. smooth black with a gold filter cover). I would recommend waiting for a good sale to pick this one up. If price didn't matter, I would have bought the Blu dryer instead, which felt just as light even though there's a supposed 3 ounces more weight.

Great tool for an amazing price. I am new to flat ironing since I cut my hair into a one length bob. I saw this in the store for $24.99 and thought why not? If it doesn't work out, it won't be too bad. I'm happy to say its been doing a great job. My hair looks shiny and sleek and stays straight all day. Before flat ironing, my hair would look nice and straight after blow drying but within a few hours, my ends would start to curl and flip. I don't have this issue anymore. I went to a wedding yesterday and it was misty and humid all day and my hair held up very well. I'm impressed with it and do not feel the need to look further into a more expensive iron. I highly suggest this, its a great value.
