Moisturizers -Darphin -Hydraskin Light

foto

This is a great moisturizer for oily skin. It’s fairly light, sinks in without any residue and my face feels very hydrated. I have been using it at night this summer and I wake up with very nice happy skin. I imagine now it’d be too heavy for me during the summer day, but I could see this being a great day cream option in the winter. Only thing I doing like is that it smells very floral and old fashioned. Wish it was a more refreshing scent.

Treatments (Face) -Darphin -Intral Redness Relief Soothing Serum

I went into Mecca and told the sales assistant about my main skin concern which is some mild redness and broken capillaries on my cheeks, I'm not sure if it's bad enough to be considered rosacea though. She recommended this product and tested it on my face. I had never tried Darphin products before because they're a bit out of my price range, but I was drawn to them because of their packaging, the natural ingredients and the fact they're a French company; the French know their skincare. After I went home I looked in the mirror and my skin looked airbrushed! I ended up buying it online as soon as I had the money. I find this very effective for reducing redness, and it smells like a dream. This serum smells seriously beautiful, it's heavenly. After applying it every night, my skin just looks so clear and less blotchy, my friend even complimented on my skin. I use this under the Darphin Intral Redness Relief Recovery Balm before I go to bed and I just purchased the Recovery Cream to wear during the day as it has a green tint to actually camouflage redness and blotchiness. The only problem is the price... for $97, 50ml is definitely not going to last a long time, and I will probably go through this quickly... but if I can afford it, I will continue to keep it as part of my skin care routine.

Moisturizers -Darphin -HydraSkin Rich All-Day Skin-Hydrating Cream

I have used pretty much every high-end product on the market by this cream is by far one of the best creams that I have ever used. The price is reasonable as well. What I like about it is that it is really moisturising and penetrates skin really well. This is my favourite cream for summer time. Also, it really calms down the skin and evens out skin tone.

Cleansers -Darphin -Intral Cleansing Milk

Within seconds of applying the Darphin Intral Cleansing Milk I had a strong allergic reaction. My skin started burning up and I developed a deep red, blotchy rash all over my face. My skin is dry, but not usually sensitive and I have no idea which ingredient (or combination) caused such a strong reaction. I had to take 2 different medications to stop the reaction, and even now, a week later, my skin is still rough and irritated. It was my first time trying Darphin as I’d heard good things about it, but never again. If you do want to try it, I’d strongly recommend doing a patch test on the inside of your arm to make sure that you don’t have a reaction as well.

Cleansers -Darphin -Aromatic Cleansing Balm with Rosewood

If you want to try a luxurious, wonderfully scented and remarkably effective cleanser, you would be hard-pressed to go awry with this one from Darphin. It is hideously expensive - $45 for a 40 ml pot. However, I have enjoyed using it so much, I have no doubt that I'll be buying more.
The balm is a kind of waxy cream texture. It smells like nothing else I've sniffed - an herbal, woodsy blend of marula oil, sage, ylang, and rosewood. The ingredients are nothing too magical; mostly, they are a blend of glycerin and oils that solidify at room temperature. I find that they combine to great effect, though. To use this, I scoop out a nickel-sized dab and rub between wet palms. You'll find it starts to emulsify immediately. I then massage all over my face. I use this as a second cleanser. It works as a first cleanser/make-up remover, but I have to use an amount that makes me shudder. As a second cleanser, it is lovely at picking up any stray oil cleanser that remains on my skin and making it feel perfectly clean and toned. No tightness, no irritation, no residue.
