BioSilk is a hair care brand founded in 1986 by Farouk Shami. The first product introduced was called BioSilk Silk Therapy, which used natural pure silk in a hair therapy product for the first time. The line has since expanded to include hair color, hair care, and styling tools.

I've now been using BioSilk Silk Therapy for years after seeing a woman on a reality show swear by it. Her hair always looked great and I wondered what it would do for me. I bought a very large bottle back when it was cheaper and I've had it at least 10 years now. I have a lot of hair, strong and wiry which I wear in a "lob". Great product, smells amazing. Gives the hair a great texture without being greasy. However, the price is absolutely ridiculous...way overpriced.
