It was a great cleanser for summer, but for winter I found it too drying. I would also recommend using it only once a day. I also like how the ingredients are organic.

Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream

Thanks to No BS Beauty for profiling this cream on her You Tube channel as the closest dupe for the Drunk Elephant Protini moisturizer. I had to try it out as I have used the DE product for several years and am a fan but was seeking a lower priced alternative. This Acure product has great ingredients with multiple peptides, ferulic acid and vitamin C and I think it's great value for money as it's a fraction of the cost of the Protini. It's also vegan and cruelty free. It comes in a squeeze tube which is preferable to a jar package but not as slick as the DE airless pump packaging. The texture however is different from the Protini. It's not as light and is more akin to the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro cream, i.e., a thicker whipped texture as opposed to the light gel-cream texture of the Protini. I personally prefer the lighter texture in my moisturizers as I find they are more refreshing and spread more easily but people with drier skin may appreciate the thicker texture. This is billed as a night cream and I would have to agree given the texture, whereas the Protini works well as a daytime moisturizer as well as it sinks in more quickly.

I definitely recommend this product. First of all it smells really good. It has a unique texture, kind of on the thicker side but once you wet your fingers, it spreads well on your skin. It rinses well and leaves my skin soft and smooth, and I always feel that my skin looks a little glowy after using it. I have purchased it multiple times and have also purchased their rejuvenating facial scrub and love it as well.
