i recently got my hands on a bunch of these play fast polishes and i'm in love. they normally retail for $4 dollars [12 ml]. the color selection is just fabulous and very in-tune with recent trends even though this line was launched 2 years ago.
night life is a smokey grayed purple with gold/lavender pearl throughout. it's in a similar color family as the popular sephora by opi metro chic. application was great. the consistency was just right and applied streak-free and dried to a glossy finish. i did require 3 coats for the best opacity. the brush is flat and wide [similar to opi's pro-wide brush], so you can cover your entire nail bed pretty quickly. i'm wearing this on my toes at the moment and it looks fab, very fall. the drying time was pretty fast [but not so much so that it's hard to work with], so it lives up to it's claim. wear was similar to what i normally get on my toes 2+ weeks. for reference i used nailtek foundation II and sally hansen insta-dry top coat.

LOVE this with my tan. Awesome color! I needed to apply 3 coats to get the color as you see in the bottle, but with sally hansen's insta-dry it dried fast and is lasting 3 days without a chip (with frequent dishwashing, daily showers and working with my hands mostly in a lab. Highly recommended!

IMHO this is a far more unique and fashion-forward color than you can find in most drug store nail polish lines. it's another of those colors that's subdued but also really funky (in a good way.) i love the pink flash you get in this. it can get a little stringy and goopy, but i've successfully thinned my bottle. well worth the price tag.

This is one of Rimmel's new nail polishes from the Underground line. This line reminds me so much of Revlon's Street Wear line from years ago in both the makeup and nail polish. All of the nail polish shades I've tried so far from the Underground line are very unique, apply well, and last. This particular shade is a midtone putty brown with rose-gold shimmer. It's amazingly unique, and it called out to me. The brush is wide similar to the OPI ProWide but narrower so that it will work with most nails without being a mess. The bottles look neat and I love the logo, but the bottle is very elliptical from side to side making it look a little unstable. Also the handle is tapered toward the top and smooth, making opening sort of difficult at time. All this can be ignored b/c of the amazing shade and flawless application that these highly pigmented and unique shades offer.
