To me this is not black at all, but a deep dark navy. But I have another gorgeous navys though that I think works much better because they are more opaque and longer lasting. 'Night Sky' by Alison Raffaele, which is almost identical in color but goes on a little more even and opaque. VS also has one pretty much identical which I also think is better. And also Midnight Blue by Awake, which is slightly less shimmery. So this one is skippable imo. I got it on sale and would still choose others over it.

Retails for $20, so pricey for the small compact. This is almost identical to MAC Black Tied in my opinion, shimmery charcoal/black. Goes on kinda chalky. Probably would not repurchase. Pigment is decent, but not as good as the other Becca shadows.
