Highlighters -BECCA -Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid - Opal

on 3/21/2019 9:28:00 AM

This highlight is just so versatile and great and I think it's a welcome addition to anyone's makeup arsenal BUT I actually reckon that it's main use, as a highlighter on the usual spots is somewhat terrible? I love love love using it to sheer/glow out a matte foundation; it does a wonderful job of it, using it as a illuminator mixing it with foundation makes for a beautiful base but I just feel that it get a bit messy when trying to specific highlight jobs as it's liquid formula makes it spread out and make the highlight messy even when using most techniques. Maybe I'm just a terrible MUA but with a foundation brush, highlight brush, blender or my hands I've constantly found that it doesn't do as a good look as with a powder highlight. I'm still going to buy this product as it's such a pretty colour and shimmer and the uses I have for it, it's a success but it's main use I don't like.

Lip Gloss -BECCA -Glow Gloss

on 3/12/2019 4:00:00 PM

These are pretty standard but nice glosses. I have Beach Nectar and Lilac Geode. The first one is a bronzy rose shade, and the second one is a light golden nude pink (there is no lilac as the name suggests.) They are both nice and last about as long as a typical gloss, which is not that long. They feel smooth, not sticky, and are moisturizing. Both are quite sheer but add a little something to your face, so these are a good option to wear with a bold eye. They are not scented but have a very mild minty quality that's a bit refreshing. I would probably buy these again, but maybe in different colors.

Lipstick -BECCA -Ultimate Lipstick Love

Wow, this lipstick is unbelievably awesome! I have lots of tubes that I barely use, since they wear off quickly or unevenly and I don't have the time to reapply. Or long-wearing ones are extremely drying and unflattering.
I bought this in Souffle, Orchid and Chocolate with a lovely gift cert. Sadly, the gorgeous dark reddish purple shade of Chocolate doesn't last and leaves a drastic line where my dry and wet lip parts meet. The others, though, are likely the best lipsticks I've tried and that says a lot.
Souffle is a browny reddish MLBB tone that is pigmented and super flattering on my pale, yellow-toned skin. Orchid is a noticeable but natural-looking pinky purple that I can see flattering almost anybody. Both likely pop enough to show on deeper skin tones too.
The tube is solid and I love the consistency. It glides over my lips and I don't even need a mirror in a pinch. It also doesn't migrate much and adds moisture.
The best part? It lasts! It does transfer, but there is still a lot left and it fades evenly. There is a pretty again left behind too. No worries about nasty patches or embarrassing lines.
So glad I found this! My new faves.

Concealers -BECCA -Undereye Brightening Corrector

What I love the most about this product is that it not only brightens under eye area but works amazingly as primer for my under eye concealer (Nars Radiant). It works like glue, the concealer sits perfect on it, not creases or setting to wrinkles. Love it, really big difference! I have it in light to medium and I really recommend!

Primer/ Corrector -BECCA -Under Eye Brightening Corrector

This would be HG if it wasn't for the sparkles. I love the consistency, didn't crease in my lines and does colour correct (NC42 - you'd think I'd be too dark but I like it!). The sparkles got on my brushes and in my concealer. Very hard to remove.
