Highlighters -BECCA -Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter - Vanilla Quartz

on 10/13/2018 10:25:00 AM

This highlighter is absolutely stunning. Blinding, glossy, looks smooth on the skin, blends easily and doesn't emphasize texture at all. The shade is quite unique, a light vanilla with a pink sheen. I wish it wasn't limited edition because I would definitely repurchase it.

Liquid -BECCA -Ultimate Coverage Complexion Crème

I have bought several shades, lighter ones (Buttercup, Nude) and darker ones (Tan, Bamboo). The shades are great - huge selection however they tend to oxydize a bit. i also mix shades when I am changing tone (spring-summer ) to get the right shade!
This foundation covers pretty much everything without feeling heavy. You really don't need a full pump, half is plenty. For that reason this will last forever.
Gives a satin/matte look, If you use a sponge or mix it with one of Becca's liquid highlighters or a serum for that matter, it will result in a more medium coverage and natural looking.
This foundation has:
- very good coverage: similar to Estee Lauder Double Wear, but less drying than it.
- extreme long lasting performace (similar to ELDW)
- can be used for pin-point concealing
- doesn’t break me out
The only con is the opaque bottle. You can't tell how much you have left....

Bronzers -BECCA -Gradient Sunlit Bronzer

I love this bronzer, although it must be said it is highly glowy/shimmery. If you are looking for a contouring product or a matte bronzer, this is not for you.
I bought the darker shade (Sunset Waves) and it is perfect in summer with a suntan. I have light skin in winter like NC15-20 but I tan to a NC30-40 in summer: mind you, this bronzer is quite dark in the shade!. It is quite pigmented. I like to use the highlighter (the the outer left and outer right stripes) as a wash on my lids as it is highly shimmery.
There is also a plain beautiful copper tone (mid-right side stripe) that I use as an eyshadow (crease) as it suits gorgeously my light blue eyes.
This product is so easy to blend and can be used alone or as a topper for adding glow over a more matt bronzer. This is really a unique product and although it might seem very shimmery at first glance, I really used it a lot this summer. I am considering buying the lighter shade (sunrise) for winter!
As a final note: finally Becca has changed their previous (troublesome) rubbery packaging into a new, shiny, mirror-like shell (and easy to wipe!).

Highlighters -BECCA -Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter - Champagne Pop

Gorgeous highlighter, good packaging, INSANE price!! Why is this so expensive?? You can get highlighters that are at the same level for much less. If I were to purchase again I would purchase the mini size because it lasts forever and is a better price point.

Foundations -BECCA -Ultimate Coverage 24 - Hour Foundation

Actual rating is 4.5 lippies. I am always on the hunt for a nice foundation like so many others here. I am not super-picky, but there are certain things that are non-negotiable when it comes to foundation. I want it to wear well and not break up, I want it to cover, and I want it to match fairly well. Maybe I am a little picky. Becca's Ultimate Coverage foundation is a pretty full-coverage foundation that somehow manages to still look like skin while covering blemishes and redness. The color match is not wonderful for me, as the shade Linen is still at least half a shade too dark, but I am accustomed to using a lightener so it is not a big deal in the end. The packaging is gorgeous, and I feel like the price is well-justified considering how the product performs. I have redness in my cheeks and on my nose as well as acne, and most mornings I cannot be bothered to do a really rigorous concealer regimen and then foundation on top. With this foundation I can just do my undereyes and then buff this on top of primer and my skin looks darn-near flawless. I do have to use a moisturizing primer with this to keep it from breaking down on drier areas of my face since it is a little on the dry side, but I am okay with that too. One thing that I absolutely love about this foundation is that I can do my whole face with one pump. That definitely tells me that it is a sound investment and I will certainly repurchase when I run out. The finish is a lot nicer than many other full-coverage foundations--it isn't luminous or even satin-y, but it looks natural and soft in spite of how much coverage there is. I have zero significant complaints, and if I didn't have to mix in white this would be 5 lippies flat out.
