    As far as black eye shadow goes I tend to stay away from it. But this has a it of sparkle to it so it's not as harsh as say Carbon. It blends well and does a smokey eye that is out of this world...

    Although the colour payoff is not so great I love this shadow. It may come off dark grey or pale black but it is very buildable and I can get a very dark smokey eye with it. I would but this again.
