As a long-standing fan of the Red Roses cologne, this body lotion was on the list to buy for a long time. Unlike many fragranced body lotions it actually DOES smell like the original fragrance and gives it more staying power. As a body lotion it also leaves the skin wonderfully soft and fragrant. Yes, the price is a bit on the steep side (£38 here in the UK), but then I either use it all over for special occasions or just on my arms and decollete to intensify the cologne. Would I buy it again? Yes, definitely!!! Unless I am lucky enough to get it as a present... ;-)

Love, love, love this scent! I purchased this over the weekend when my friend and I went to Dublin, Ireland @ a Brown Thomas boutique. Yes, I thought this was quite expensive ($65.00) but well worth it. This is a very moisturizing, true-to scent of red roses in full bloom and lasts all day. There is no need for added perfume, but if you must, I recommend Stella McCartney's "Stella" for that added "oomph".
It doesn't take much product to get the job done (both fragrance and moisturize) so I think w/ that said, I could "almost" see it to be a great buy. Would probably repurchase it, but the SA told me it wasn't available in the body creme version.

This is a very true and VERY classy red rose scent IMO. The scent lasts wonderfully although as a lotion it's not very moisturizing. I wear this alone -No need for the added cologne.

I've owned Red Roses cologne and body lotion for over a year, and wear them regularly. I've reviewed the Red Roses cologne in another review, so if you want to know more about the *scent* of this line, please see that review. The lotion is nice; it's true to the Red Roses scent, and it has enough fragrance so that you could wear it all by itself, if you wanted a very light amount of scent all day. It's a very light lotion, and like many other lotion versions of fragrances, it's better for scent layering than for its moisturizing properties. I own Jo Malone body creme in another scent, and if I could go back in time, I'd buy the Red Roses Body Creme instead of the lotion. This lotion is still very nice; if it were the only choice available, I wouldn't grouse. The creme is simply a better product for the price, even if (like me) your skin isn't particularly dry.

Used after the Red Roses Bath Oil, this will keep you smelling gorgeous though isn't very moisturising. The scent really lingers, so is great if you want to smell good but aren't looking for something that will keep your bod soft and touchable.

This is teh best fragranced lotion I have tried. The fragrance lasts all day! I just wish it wasn't so darn expensive.
