I purchased this product after a fellow beauty guru raved about the Vitamin E Illuminating Moisture Cream (which did nothing for me and I ended up throwing it in the garbage 2 weeks after I purchased). I like the night cream as it does nourish and smooth skin with a soft, pleasant scent. As with any facial product, the right amount is key; this is definitely a keeper along with the Vitamin E SPF 15 moisturizer.

I purchased the Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream to compliment my Lancome Genifique Youth Activator and Visionnaire Skin Corrector serums.
IMO, the Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream is a cost effective comparison product for the Lancome Hydrazen Neurocalm Soothing Recharging Night Cream.
It has a subtle fragrance, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated, refreshed, soothed and soft. It is a rich, nourishing night cream without the typical night cream attributes (greasy, oily and sticky etc).
The Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream is sensitive skin and acne prone skin friendly. I have dry to sensitive skin with occasional break outs along my jaw line, and can say with 100% certainty that it does not affect or contribute to my breakouts.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream retails for $27.95 AU.

Very moisturising and a lovely scent. I rly wanted to keep using this cream....unfortunately i dont think it is too suitable for sensitive skin as it made my skin break out big time!

this is a keeper!
i am fairly young so i didnt think i needed a night cream but one of my favorite youtubers raved about it, i had some money left so why not? i ended up getting a backup as a gift and I am so happy!
its a thick cream which is intimidating for oily skins but its not oily, also its a night cream so it doesnt really matter. honestly i cant explain its effect in words, when i wake up my skin just looks better! more even and smoother, like ive been to the spa or rested a lot. i dont know if its because my skin tends to look dull but i can see the diference and i dare say it has lasting effects, during the day i mean. usually i got home and looked tired and ashy, now i look healthier somehow!
the smell is also lovely!

I am pretty in love with the whole Vit E line. I love how it smells and they are all so moisturizing! This is meant for all skin types, and I have sensitive/combination skin that can be really prone to acne in some areas and yet can be very dry during the winter too, to the point of itchiness and peeling.
I use this on all the winter nights and I wake up with considerably brighter/smoother skin.
My only gripe is the packaging which can be unhygienic, but since I only use this after washing my face/hands it's not so bad. It would still be better if it came in a tube from though, but it's already a very good moisturizer as it is.

I got a little jar of this in a gift set and really liked it. It's a super moisturizing night cream. Very thick and smells like johnson and johnson baby lotion. I have normal to combo skin, acne prone and it did not break me out. It takes a little while for it to sink in and often leaves my face matte but a little sticky, like not uncomfortable sticky but semi sticky. I don't mind cause the payoff to have moisturized skin is nice.

I think this is a great product. For those who complain about the price, well, you get what you pay for. This cream comes in a tub, which some people don't like for hygienic reasons, but really, you should be the only one who is using your product, and you should always have clean hands while applying anything to your face.
I actually love the Tub as I can get every last bit of the product and get everything that I am paying for.
This cream goes on smoothly and evenly, and it leaves your skin feeling baby soft. It is not too thick as other night creams can be, and does not feel heavy on the skin. It also leaves your face with the 'just cleansed' feeling, which a lot of heavy moisturizers can take away.
On the other hand, it is rich enough to moisturize throughout the whole night. I used to use eye cream on my lips as I am a nurse in the hospital and the air is extremely dry so I like to give my lips a little extra TLC. I switched to using this on my lips, and does an even better job than my 60$ eye cream!
I am so happy that I found something with the benefits of Vitamin E to use overnight. You will be happy with this product, and your skin will be glowing and baby soft from Night until the next morning!

I LOVE THIS THING. It kinda melts into my skin and leaves it beautifully soft :D Only thing is that it's $30AUD which is kinda too expensivee for meeeee D: Not a fan of the packaging either but I still LOVE IT :D

Right upfront, I would say save your $20 and put it towards a better night cream or serum instead.
It's okay, but it's not that great. It does have me waking up with softer, moisturized skin but not noticeably so that I would want to use it after I'm finished the jar. It leaves a shiny film on my skin when I put it on at night and it's still there when I wake up in the morning. It's also scented, which makes me wary about whether it's going to make my skin break out if I continue to use it.
Basically, it's ok if you get it on sale - when you sleep is when you're skin and body repairs itself and does it's thing, so for such valuable time, there's much better products out there you can use.

I used this last winter every night for 3-4 months. I had a lot of flaky skin, but this cream didn't help me that much even if I exfoliated well. It sort of sat on top of my skin and felt quite thick. I have now converted to serums because they sink in way much faster and helps my skin a lot more :)

I absolutely love this product and this is such a godsend - especially now that we're entering the crazy winter here in edmonton. I use this almost everyday, on top of the Vitamin E moisture cream (I usually use the moisture cream right after a shower, and this right before I go to bed). This does not break me out, keeps my skin super moisturised even in this horridly dry and cold weather and keeps my skin looking good in general! I wish this came in a tube or something rather than a pot due to hygiene concerns but what can I say! I got this during a buy one get the second one at half price sale at body shop, so it's a pretty good deal to me. Will definitely repurchase because it's so difficult to find a good cream that suits me and that really works!

This is my go-to night cream... I always want to try different skin care products but I always have some sort of allergic reaction to many products (especially more expensive ones, I wonder why?) and when that happens, I always crawl back to this cream!! It's really emollient and soothing (which is quite surprising cuz it's got frangrance) and every morning when I wake up, my skin becomes super soft and baby-skin like! The only drawback would be the packaging, it's in a jar... Oh and this cream definitely works better in the winter for my fellow combo girls... It's a bit too thick in the summer if you have an oily t-zone...

Baby soft skin in an instant. The real test will be the dead of winter. Hopefully it will calm any wind burned redness or chafed skin. I love the winter and being out in the weather, but it's hell on your skin with central heating. For a night cream, I was most surprised at how well it absorbs and left skin nourished and soft. There is no left over residue or greasy feeling. I've been using Boots Botanics products, but they are around the same price as this. It may be time for a switch. I can stand the scent since I'm now used to it. Other people might hate it. You'd think The Body Shop would have at least made their skin care unscented. Update: My skin is breaking out. I've been using the regular day cream and then this one at night. I have to pinpoint what is causing it, because my skin rarely breaks out. It did not start until I began testing these.

This cream is very rich. I liked the day cream so I bought the night cream without really looking at it too much. At first I was positive it would break me out, but I'm happy to say it hasn't. My skin can get pretty dry, but other night creams I've tried have alway made me breakout. Every once in a while, I'll wake up with a small surface whitehead from this cream, but I think its worth it to not have flaky skin. I just apply a salicylic acid treatment on my skin before applying the cream. This cream has also seemed to help fade marks from previous blemishes. My only complaint is that I wish it was in a pump so I didnt have to stick my fingers in the container.

I have oily/combination skin - sometimes i breakout with some pimples & i also have acne scars. During Ramadhan which is the fasting month for muslims my skin got kind of dry but still i breakout from a few pimples. I've heard that even people with oily skin should go for hydrating skincare because when your skin has enough moisture it will not produce too much oil. I was thinking to change my current skincare which was mostly oil free and from high end brands (suprisingly expensive skincare doesnt work for me). I didnt want to break my wallet just to change my skincare products so I was thinking of The Body Shop which price is quite reasonable. So i browse through this website and was interested to try the Vitamin E Skincare range. I went to the nearest Body Shop store and bought 6 items from the Vitamin E skincare products (soap, cream cleanser, toner, serum, day cream & night cream) and had 30% off from the total price which was a good deal (they have a promotion at the time until 4th Sept 2011). I was nervous & worried to try it initially but now after a month of using it i feel that this is the best skincare for me. The result is AMAZING. I am in love with this product. My skin did not breakout from it, it smells so good like baby lotion, the product is very gentle on my skin, my acne scars are dissapearing slowly (probably due to the Vitamin E ingredients) and my skin feels so hydrated. I would like to give my 2 thumbs up for the Body Shop for producing this product! I will definately continue using this & still would like to try the some of the Seaweed, Vitamin C & Tea Tree Oil skincare range (mix & match). Only one thing that I'm a bit dissapointed with The Body shop is that they dont have Sunblock with SPF50 or more (i use sunblock everyday & had to buy a different brand) - please consider to produce this!

i think the only cons i can think of this is that it leaves a T oily zone in the morning if i put it on too much before going to sleep, but other than that, it works really well, makes my face feels fresh in the morning

I actually have oily skin so I don't use this too often or all over my face. I just use it on dry patches that seem to pop up every once in a while during my quests to find a good cleanser. I also use it on dry patches on my body like an elbow. So far so good, it seems to work where I need it to work.

THIS IS AN AMAZING NIGHT CREAM!!!! My skin looks so much smoother and glow in the next morning. I can tell the difference just by using one night! I believe good products show results in couple days. I also used Olay night cream, somehow it doesnt works as well as this one and I dont like the smell at all, especially applying it all night long. Now, I am going to try the day cream. Hopefully it works as well as this one too.

I have dry skin with occasional dry patches on my cheeks and chin. This night cream helped eliminate my dry patches and I woke up the next morning with really soft skin. However, it kind of broke me out. I think it's because there's mineral oil in it. The texture is creamy and not too greasy, so I had no idea that something of this texture will break out on my dry skin, but sadly it did. I think it kinda clogged my pores too. The smell was ok, it didn't bother me. I think this will be a good product to use during the winter time, but I probably won't be purchasing this product because it broke me out and it has mineral oil and parabens in it.

Great night cream.. The best I have used! Skin looks great when I wake up in the morning and there are no negative side effects. Have had many compliments since using the vitamin E range moisturisers (day and night).
