I have been using this cream for years now, I can not live without it! I have combination/dry skin in the winter and combination/oliy skin in the summy. In the winter, I use it even as a day cream, and my skin is just so comfortable and smooth, in the summer I use it in the evenings and the Vitamin E Moisture Cream in the morning, and maybe a little on the dry area, I hope they will never discontinue this product, absolutly best!

This stuff is amazing!! My skin feels so much softer in the morning. A little goes a long way, and you don't really need a lot to see the results. Sometimes I also use it as a day cream if I did not put this on the night before when I go to bed. It can be a little thick considering how I live in a tropical country, but I love how soft and smooth my skin feels after I remove my make up at the end of the day. Even my beautician complimented how soft my skin was, and that it looked more radiant.

It has a lovely scent, and though a tub packaging has hygiene issues, I do like how it's easy to get the product. Slightly expensive, but it's so good I've even stocked up on this during their sale!

I have only tried this product during winter, and for that season it is perfect. It makes my skin really clear and smooth.

I went into the body shop looking for a night moisturizer and came across the vitamin e night cream. I purchased it because it was a recrimination..and I love it! I used to get dry flakes of skin when applying foundation but now ever since using this product I have smooth skin. I got mine for about 10$ on sale, after using it I bought three more. I really love it because you really don't have to apply that much for exceptional results, I will forever love this product!

This product is going to be a must have. I rarely break out anymore, but I have been known to have been acne prone. So as a preventive, I usually use acne related products to take care of my skin. But recently, I got two cystic pimples on my chin. Cystic pimples plague me every so often, for a two week period. Nothing but time and creams, can help, and even then, I still might have to 'work' on it. ANYWAY, this cream doesn't make me break out. It makes my skin baby soft, and it gives me a glow and smooth application with makeup. BETTER YET, after those two pimples I unfortunately dried my skin out (also in conjunction with the low tempature). I mean, really, really, bad. I was self cautious and tried multiple lotions for weeks. nothing was working. On a whim, I went into the body shop and asked the shop lady what she'd recommend me. And this, was it. Originally she tried getting me to buy the day version, but I told her how dry my skin was, and she said she uses this in the winter. It's my new favorite and I don't even use my clean&clear anymore. continued >>

My skin: OILY, SHINY, and dull

I used to moisturize every night before I go to bed and every morning, I would wake up with an oily face. I accepted this fate.

My face is usually very oily and shiny especially by the end of the day. It doesn't usually have a nice "glow" and my makeup tends to slide around all day (which sucks).

UNTIL I tried this cream.

The first night I tried this cream, I woke up and my face was not only NOT oily but it even looked a little "glowy". I was super happy.

This cream is really thick and moisturizing so you don't need to use a lot. It's good as a regular cream for people with dry skin or as a night cream for people with oily skin like me!!

Definitely will buy this again!! :)

I first started using this product about 5 years ago when my usual moisturiser (Biotherm Aquasource non-stop) wasn’t moisturizing enough. I absolutely love this product!! It hydrates dry patches, reduces redness and gives the face a hydrating moisture-layer for the night.
I do not recommend the day cream. It is not hydrating and there are many products on the market that can do the same for less (cost).
If you have dry- very dry skin, you may want to try this product. This product is oil based and relies on such to moisturise the skin, if you get oily easily you may want to be wary.
This product is pricey- but if it works for your skin then it is worth the investment. I HIGHLY suggest that you try the tester before buying (because of the cost).

I have been using this product on and off now for 10 years, first discovering it when I found out a friend (who has the most amazing skin ever!) used it. I have since returned to it yet again, and I think its about time I realise there is nothing better out there! I have combination skin, but when I use this I do not need to use a moisturiser in the day, just sunscreen so I am not overloading my skin. My skin is very irritated from years of chopping and changing products and over washing (OCD), but this cream is really helping it to calm down. Its smoother, hydrated, and the redness has decreased by at least 80% since I started using it again (so far it has only been a week!) I will say however that I didnt like the day cream, for some reason it was irritating to my skin. You dont need to use the whole range to see results, I think this night cream is the best of the line in my opinion! :)

The good thing about this product is that it does give a nice glow to your skin when you first wake up in the morning. However, as a moisturizer it is simply not very good. While it soaks in and works better than the Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream (see my review of that product for more details), it still has very little in the way of lasting moisturizing effects. After splashing my face with water in the AM (I only "cleanse" at night), my skin feels significantly less moisturized, like I need to slather on my day cream right away for some relief... although it's not as dry as the Intense Moisture Cream left me feeling. I'd like to see my moisturizer improve the quality of my skin gradually so that it won't feel tight or dry if I get it wet. I do not want to have to rely on a product that I have to constantly slather on my face to keep it feeling soft!
Other cons include the jar packaging and the price. I'm happy to pay $20 CDN if it's a good moisturizer, but for what this is it's not worth it, especially since you don't even get that much. Even the glowing effect is temporary and doesn't make it past my water splash and makeup application.
While I returned the Intense Moisture Cream, I will finish up the Nourishing Night Cream because it's slightly better and I lost the receipt (I got burned returning the other cream without the receipt; I was only refunded the current sale price). But I will never again repurchase and do not recommend it.
I'm pretty much ready to give up on The Body Shop's facial skincare, since my first foray with these two highly-rated products has been such a disappointment.
