I like this mascara, just not on its own. I don't find it gripping my lashes so well, but when used over another mascara it's amazing! I usually use the L'Oreal voluminous WP underneath and then 2 coats of the rocket WP. That gives my short lashes loads of volume and length. As this is a WP formula it's a bit harder to remove, but it's definitely worth it since this mascara never ever smudges on me. Actually think this formula of WP is the best I've ever tried (and I've tried most), and therefore I can accept not getting along with it just on it's own. Will buy again for sure!
Overall, an okay product. A plus was that it did not smudge. It lengthens well, but it didn't really add any volume (not like the Colossal). Removing it didn't cause much trouble (I used a makeup remover towelette and an eye makeup remover).
I won't be repurchasing because I need a a mascara that adds volume. If all you need/want is a lengthening mascara you may want to consider this product.
The WP Rocket is definitely WP, which is great. No smudges or anything. I remove using oil and have no issues with it coming off at the end of the day. The brush is interesting and gets great length but it doesn't really do much for volume on my lashes. It is what I would call an everyday sort of mascara...not exactly "Rocket Volum'".Good in a pinch but not extraordinary. I've had better results with other mascaras, so I wouldn't repurchase. On the other hand, if you want a very WP drugstore mascara, this might be a good option.
I like what this does for my lashes in the volumizing department. I already have thick ones, but this gives them a lot more oomph.
But! This is the most seriously waterproof mascara I've ever tried. It does not BUDGE! and that may be good some times, but when it comes time for removal it's a complete pain. 4 swipes of makeup wipe. Still there. 2 cottonballs soaked in Almay eye makeup remover and still there. Cleansed twice with Clean & Clear cleanser and lots of very warm water, STILL THERE!
I wouldn't buy it again because of that.
Awful. I already regret buying this. I have long lashes but I wanted to give them a little more drama and volume so I thought this would be perfect. I put this on and it didn't even seem like I had mascara on. After 3 coats, they just look spidery and flakey. I bought this at target for 5.99. I should have just bought my usual cover girl and spent the extra whopping dollar. So bad, don't buy this unless you want an extremely natural barely there look.
This is one of my favorite mascaras. I have short and straight lashes and nothing holds a curl better than this on. And mascaras, even waterproof ones, have a propensity to smudge on me, but this one doesn't at all--stays on from morning until night. The brush is quite large, but I like that it's big and plastic. It separates my lashes and gives them a nice even coat with no clumps. You can't build this mascara up very well on its own--it gets clumpy before you lashes get big, but I love using a coat of this to hold a curl and following up with another mascara. I'm currently loving it with Benefit's They're Real.
The waterproof version has got a very dry formula, so it's quite difficult to use it on its own and to apply a second coat. But I really like to apply a coat of this and then follow up with a non waterproof mascara, and that way it works very well for me and it holds the curl great!
~$7.50 USD. This was yet another failed attempt in my quest to find a replacement for my HG Lash Stylist mascara. The mascara wand brush is HUGE - so big that it can't get to the lashes at the corners of my eyes. It does ok job reaching my lashes in the middle of the eye. Unfortunately, while it adds a little bit of volume, on my Asian, straight, short lashes, it did very little to lengthen or make much difference. About the only good thing it did is that it didn't take out the curl. Also, if you like this kind of "grippy" brush, try L'Oreal telescopic shocking extension mascara - which I thought gripped and lengthened even my lashes very, very well.
I really like this mascara. It's similar to the Loreal Million Lashes mascara but the packaging is much better and it doesn't flake off like the Loreal one does. The waterproof power is good and I havent noticed any smudging. The clumping is a small problem but that's kinda with any mascara anyway. The smell wasn't strong at all and the color pigmentation is about average. I've been buying this for a few months now, and I actually really like it!
Certainly not the world's most dramatic mascara by any means, but wow is it ever waterproof! I've cried at least ten times today and it hasn't run a smidgen.
