I adore this product. It's wonderful that it's natural and has a lovely subtle scent (I have the Peaceful Patchouli version). This looks, feels, and goes on like a body lotion. I get a very close shave and my skin is left quite smooth afterward. This has become my go to shave product and I look forward to trying the other scents..

I love this stuff. Tried almost all varieties but my favorite so far is Lavender. A little pump really goes a long way. This has also become my husband's favorite. It really works for his eczema prone skin. It is like a lotion and does not really foam up BUT you end up with a nice thick layer of moisturizing shaving lotion and a quick swish of the razor under water clears up any gunk.

This is my HG shaving cream and has been for many years. I have dry, eczema prone skin on my legs and underarms and I've tried tons of shaving products and nothing comes close to this. This product doesnt exactly lather but it does kind of expand and get thicker and creamier when you rub it around between your hands. It is very moisturizing and soothing and really helps with the eczema patches on my legs. I get very few shaving bumps from using this, unlike with other products. Moisture shave is not quite as soothing as it used to be since they reformulated to take the parabens out but I guess as a "natural" product company they felt pressured to go paraben free. Personally I dont buy into the paraben scare, there is simply not enough evidence that they are harmful and my skin does so much better with products that use parabens as preservatives. The newer formula is also much creamier, it used to get kind of a strange texture and separate. I used to use the mint or the lavender scents and they're both nice but I now prefer the unscented because of less potential for irritation. It also comes in patchouli and maybe other scents but it's hard to keep track because some have been D/C'd and most stores don't carry all of them. This may seem pricey compared to a regular shaving foam but it comes in a generous sized 11 oz botttle and lasts much longer. Plus it is sooooo much better than a foam or gel.

I tried the Cool Mint scent in the pump bottle. I liked the fresh minty scent. But overall, I was disappointed with the product. The consistency was very runny and slippery, which made it hard to handle, I think most of it probably ended up going down the drain and going to waste. I couldn't get a close shave, either. I think that if this product were thicker, more like a creme, it would work better.

I am in love with this product-- such a silky smooth shave! The consistency is much different than standard shave gels or creams, this one is more like a creamy lotion. It doesn't clog my razor like gel does and it lasts at least three times longer. I am really sensitive to fragrances, so I bought the fragrance-free version and am very pleased. And this product is free of harmful chemicals and preservatives. I will never go back to shave gel again!

This is so creamy and provides the best feel in any shaving creme or gel I have ever tried ( and that includes super pricey ones). It lasts a long time. Especially for anyone with a need to shave a lot, I think it saves your legs.THE BEST.

I have gone through so many shaving creams this is by far my favorite. it is HG for me. I have sensitive skin on my body and this shaving cream feels so smooth and lathers perfectly on my skin. It's not thick at all like some companies so it allows for the perfect close smooth shave. and it also smells yummy. I have the grapefruit one. And i also feel like it lasts forever. Compared to those foamy formulas. I shave my legs everyday and one bottle lasted me almost 6 months. Love it! Price is reasonable too.

I love this! I've always had shaving problems such as ingrowns, dark follicles, and dryness. This has saved my legs! It's sooooo moisturizing and it works awesome. My legs look perfect and they haven't been that way pretty much since i started shaving. It's not so rich that you can't get a close shave and it's not so thin that your legs aren't protected. This works awesome and I will never ever stop using it. And it's all natural so what's not to love

I use this in 'vanilla earth' and love it! I have now repurchased this at least five times. When I transitioned from the not-natural Gillette Venus foaming shave gel, I noticed that this doesn't lather as much, nor does it 'pick up' the hairs as much for shaving. In comparison, it does smell fantastic, and I don't have the irritation that I sometimes had before. The foam from before isn't needed for a good shave, and this does lather if you give it a good rub. Great for men as well!
I am happy with this as my current natural option. Now, if an alternative is out there that makes the everyday shave even easier, I am open to it. Let me know!

FINALLY! a shaving cream im happy with! i got the lavender scent...my skin feels moisturized, i feel that i get a closer/better shave w/ this than any other product ive used..its affordable (goodbye, art of shaving!), doesnt clog my pores, barely any razor bumps!

Highly recommend, I will not use any other shaving products now that I'm so used to Moisture Shave. This cream gives a very smooth, close shave without any irritation, and rinses off cleanly. The only thing I've ever found to be more effective is straight aloe vera gel, but I prefer to use this product for convenience's sake. I prefer the Key Lime scent, and have repurchased several times.

I'm surprised I haven't written a review for this sooner considering that I have been using it for about 6 or 7 months. After the Eos shave products disappointed me, I decided to turn to this since regular shaving gel just doesn't cut it. But Moisture Shave is wonderful and definitely HG status. I've used the unscented and mint and enjoyed both. Mint is pleasantly tingly without burning and smells, well, minty fresh! The consistency of the product is silky and smooth and leaves your skin quite soft with scant irritation. Compared to shaving gels widely avaliable at stores, the price does seem quite high but I find that the bottle lasts significantly longer than something such as Eos or Skintimate. My only quibble with this product is that it is not easy for me to find where I live and so I usually turn to iHerb or LuckyVitamin to order, but it is worth it.

This is my holy grail shaving product. My skin is ridiculously sensitive and even other 'sensitive skin' gels make it break out and get red and cranky, but this stuff leaves me smooth as silk, no cranky skin, and a little goes a long way.
(Get this - I can even shave my underarms with this stuff and then apply deodorant right after the shower and not scream in agony. That's how gentle this is. I love it.)
For price, it does pay to shop around - it's not bad, but you can sometimes find a sale.

This provides the perfect amount of moisturizing and is so easy to use with the built-in pump. I will never buy another kind of shaving cream!

I picked this up at Whole Foods in the Peaches and Cream scent for $7.99. A little pricey for 11 oz, but I only need 1-2 pumps of this for each entire leg, and it generates tons of creamy, non-drying lather. Due to it's lotiony consistency, I was expecting this to be a cream shave, akin to Skintimate's or Trader Joe's, but it is neither a cream shave or a shave gel--it's like a hybrid of the two. Like a shave gel, it lathers, leaves no film behind on your legs, does not clog your razor, and does not make your tub slippery. Like a cream shave, it is non-drying and very creamy and soft in texture. It has less nasty chemicals than Skintimate but gives a much closer shave than TJ's, so for me it's worth the price. And the scent is SO amazing. It's refreshing and mouth-watering; smells like fresh peaches! The pump bottle is convenient too--you don't have to fumble with a cap in the shower. Love!

I am SO glad I found this product. I have freakishly sensitive legs...shaving for me is usually a bad, painful thing that I put off for as long as I can. But this stuff is really amazing. It made my legs so smooth, and more importantly - it didn't hurt me to shave. And I usually get stubble a few hours after shaving, but my legs still feel smooth nearly a whole day later. The only thing I'm not too fond of is the smell...I have it in Vanilla Earth, and it smells more like root beer. But that's okay...it prevents razorburn, so I won't be picky about the smell :)

A friend let me use this while I was staying with her, and I never looked back - and that was ten years ago! This stuff is my HG shaving ANYTHING. I have sensitive skin, and everything about this product is perfect. A little goes a long way, it's very emollient, the razor loves it, and no irritation! The pump makes it super easy to use - other shave lotions use squeeze bottles, who wants that with slippery hands? The Unscented is awesome and doesn't get in the way of my scented shower soap. A++ now and forever!

This is, by far, my favorite shave cream. A tiny bit makes a lot of shaving lather and it's so smooth and creamy. I get a nice smooth shave with no nicks or irritation and there are several fragrances to choose from. And I love the pump container. I will never use anything else again.
