I loved this product when it was in the genie bottle. Now it's on the squeeze tube which dries out. The newer formulation also makes my eyes feel like they have sand in them. It's really sad because the color is amazing. Urban decay really went down hill some being acquired by loreal. Less brights, more shades or brown than anyone should own, and cheaper lower end formulations. I miss the older, more ethical urban decay. Sadly they are lining the pockets of a huge company that contributes to animal testing, and charging the same price for products that less quality to meet the mass production. I miss old urban decay :(

Wow! A friend bought this for me at Ulta when it was on sale for only 10 bucks. Usually I think its about 25, but i would have bought it for 25 dollars! The color is absolutely beautiful. Be warned: if you are looking for a clear plain primer, this is not for you. It is gold shimmer. However, it is gorgeous, and truly worth the price. You can put a little on by itself for a naturally shimmery look, or you can put eyeshadow on top. This primer makes cheap eyeshadow look shimmery and vibrant! Buy it! its worth the expensive price!
I bought this colour by accident one day when I was in Sephora in a hurry not knowing that it was gold instead of the original clear formula. HOWEVER, I ENDED UP LOOOOOVING THIS. I personally wear mainly champagne or gold eyeshadows and I find that this primer just gives it that extra POP!! Great to add some drama to a more casual look or to go full out with your party makeup. While I love the product I dont love the price and feel there are better, less expensive options out there for me to explore before I decide to come back and repurchase this product.
UDPP is one of my HG products and I've tried all the shades, Greed's the last one I got to. I was expecting pigmentation along the lines of Sin or Eden, instead it's like the clear base of the original with sparse gold sparkles throughout. Very sheer. It's so sheer that there's not really a point. All of the benefits of the original formula are there (no creasing, vibrant, long lasting color, etc.) which is why I give this a 3, but the weak gold color is dissapointing. I don't know if maybe the color doesn't work with my skintone or I got a bad tube or what. I've tried layering it but it's so sheer that didn't help much. I won't repurchase.
I purchased Greed and it is definitely a vibrant gold sparkle primer. You can wear this alone or along with shadow. It is quite vibrant so I layer a more natural eyeshadow over it to tone it down a bit, but I have also worn it alone on occasion. I will probably repurchase, but in the sheer nude, not the gold again. While fantastic, the gold competes with my eye makeup sometimes. One great trick is to apply just under the lower lash or in the corner of the eye, it really pops there.
Make sure you don't apply too much, a little goes a long way!

I love love love this primer. It makes all of my eye shadow look fabulous, glide one easily, and it stays all day. I even have to use my waterproof makeup remover to get the shadow off at the end of the day. I wasn't so impressed with the original one but I decided to try this one in ulta one day and I am glad I did!! I was using MAC's paint pot in painterly as a base but it was making all my eye shadow color just look muddy.

This is a fairly expensive product, but I seriously love it to death.
I like the newer packaging better than the old, to start off. It is easier to use up all the product and to get your money's worth.
The packaging of this one is adorable. I think the packaging of Greed is the best and my favorite because it has a nicer match of color and it fits the theme Urban Decay is trying to get.
I don't know why people like the original better than this one. I like this one better because it adds a slight gold tint to your look. Of course if you don't want that, then I don't recommend this primer. I also tend to use it as a base eyeshadow, and it makes a good one. It applies easily and I think it's worth the $40-$50.

THe original is my favorite primer, I really like this as well, it is just less versatile because of the gold shimmer, but i think that that is the point.
I love that this gives a golden base but it's kinda hard to blend and spread. It makes my eyeshadow last all day though and its pretty!
This is my least favorite of the UD Primers. The consistency of the primer seems to be oiler/slicker than the others. It doesn't blend as well--rather it seems to want to slide off. It is the only primer from UD that didn't last all day for me. I found I had to reapply and layer it to keep it fresh. Also, the gold tone was not very flattering to my pale skin. Maybe layered with something else this would be okay but I haven't tried anything else with it yet. I am thankful it came as part of a set and not something that I purchased by itself full price or I would definitely return it.
