I've used a standard non-electric vanity mirror before. After obtaining this Conair Chrome Illuminated Makeup Mirror, model BE47, I am now asking myself: How did I live without this for soooo long?
There are many makeup mirrors on the market. There are far fewer that are lighted. There are fewer illuminated makeup mirrors still that people do not complain are too bright, too dim, too yellow. There are increasingly few lighted makeup mirrors that allow for replaceable bulbs — this one does. There are no competing models that I know of that offer an oval, face-sized mirror. Similarly, there are NO lighted vanity mirrors offering these generous dimensions and quality looks for the price — between $22-$40 depending where you shop!
The nice thing about this mirror is that it stands 7.0 x 8.0 x 17.0, so no more crouching over a too-short vanity mirror. While not super bright, it isn't super dim, either. If you have any other ambient light this ought to be sufficient. It is particularly ideal for those of us with oval, not round faces!
My understanding is that these illuminated vanity mirrors are on clearance at some Walmart stores (and online) as of this date. Get yours while they last!
i luv using lighted magnifying mirrors to do my m/u and my last one broke so i was very lucky to get the for xmas from the bf! according to the product descrip, this "Conair 1x/5x Mirror features 4 light settings to simulate day, evening, home and office. This classic, oval shaped mirror features a chrome finish 360 degree rotation and a 6-foot clear line cord." It is kinda big tho & when i try to rotate the mirror, it does get hot, esp when u spend quite a bit of time on ur m/u....retails for $55 continued >>
