I have sensitive skin and some acne scaring and figure this could be good for both these problems. I felt like it has made absolutely no difference. I used the smashbox hydrating primer before and actually really like that one, but with summer coming, felt like I needed something with less of a moisturizing factor.

I have has a few breakouts in the last few days, since starting to use the Stila Primer. I would not recommend this to anyone with acne prone skin and if you are look for something to even out your skin tone, this is not the product.

Didn't do anything for me. Did very little as a corrector; marginally helped with redness which on me isn't even really a huge problem, but did nothing else for brightening. As a primer it was one of the worst I've tried.

Worst part is that I broke out badly.

Got a sample of this from the SA who was strongly recommending this over MUFE in 002, and smashbox in purple. Seems like a good enough product to love, since it has all the three nice colours wrapped up in one tube. Unfortunately, i think as an asian with yellow tone skin, what i really need is just the purple tones to reduce my yellow tones. therefore, this did not really work for me. my skin looks better with just a pure purple primer instead of this three in one product. Formula wise, it is not silicon based, but more moisturising. makes me feel more oily though. would not be buying this.

This did not brighten my skin, it made me look darker oddly (I have a olive complexion)...it kind of helped with my pores but it made me break out in little bumps all over my face. It felt weird, and I couldn't wait to take it off at the end of the day. Yay for Sephora's return policy because I returned it!

I am yet another person who bought this product on impulse because of the pretty packaging. However, this product does not live up to my expectation. It does nothing to reduce the redness of my skin and does not brighten or reduce fine lines. This is the first primer I have used, and I have noticed that my make up stay on longer since I have started using this primer. Overall, an average product - increases the staying power of my make up, but doesn't live up to the hype.

I went to Sephora a few months back on a mission to find a primer and foundation routine that would combat my awful oil factory of a face. I walked around the store and tried out a few different ones from MUFE, TooFaced, etc. I decided on the Stila, and glad I did.

Packaging: So Cool. the little helix looking colours in the transparent tube are really neat! I also really like this pump. It lets out just the right amounts of product!

Scent: nothing noticeable! Thats a huge plus. Stuff like primer should not have a scent, imo.

Texture: I pump the product onto my hand, and warm it up a bit, and then dab it on my face. I love the feeling and how smooth it is!

Price: At $36, its more expensive that most of the other primers I looked at, but I have been using it for about two months on almost a daily basis and it looks like i barely used any. Its a decent size, and I think it will last awhile, so broken down that way, it might be worth it!

Does It Work?: I dont really notice a difference in it correcting my skin tone issues (I have very bad redness). But I will say, it has really helped keep my skin from becoming less oily during the day, and it works GREAT with my Clinique Even Better foundation. The combo has been a lifesaver, and I dont find myself blotting or powdering my t-zone as much during the day.

This doesn't do anything. I bought this on impulse because I fell for the packaging.

I have sensitive and very acne prone combination skin. A Stila rep suggested this to me and gave me a sample. Silicone-based primers have given me breakouts in the past, and I was hoping that this would be a good alternative. In a primer, I look for something to mattify and prevent makeup from sinking into dry areas or the fine lines that are starting to form near my eyes. Unfortunately, this product didn't do either of those things for me.

This stuff *did* seem to make my makeup last a bit longer. However, my t-zone got shiny just as fast as it does without primer (even though I always use finishing powder), and my makeup sank right into fine lines and pores (though it might have looked a little better in dry areas). Despite its fancy multi-colored look, this didn't seem to diminish redness for me, either. I'm just glad I got a sample before purchasing the full size product.

The marketing on this product was really well done as I fell for the look of the swirls. I don't think this is the best primer on the market. As others, I was also looking for a non-silicone based primer. It's ok. I will probably try something else when this runs out.

Note: The eye primer pot is AWESOME!
