I absolutely love this color and the way it went on, and looked. Unfortunately like so many products I could not wear. Clogged pores and broke out after several timed uses.
I was on the hunt for something like a pressed version of the Ben Nye Banana Powder and happened to stumble across this. I adore the YBF Automatic Brow Pencils in Universal Taupe, so I promptly went on the hunt purchased two 11g compacts of their Neutralizing Yellow Powder on eBay for about $15. The packaging is sleek and minimalistic and includes a generous-sized mirror. The product itself, however, is severely disappointing. The first thing I noticed is that it contains A LOT of fine silvery shimmer. The next thing I noticed after applying it to my face (NC20 skin tone) is that the yellow pigmentation is much too strong. Neutralizing colored powders such as this should be sheer, so that they do the job without turning you into a Simpson's character. This stuff left patchy, noticeably yellow spots wherever I applied it. I wanted a pressed neutralizing powder to touch up with during the day because the area around my nose and top lip tends to get red as my foundation wears off a bit. But this particular powder is not good for that purpose. The only way I can use it is with a big fluffy brush and applied lightly all over my face - perhaps to color-correct foundations that may be too pink for me. I am disappointed and I would not recommend this product.
Wow, duped by great reviews again, I am very picky about powder and usually stick to mineral powders since they diffuse pores and fine lines better, but after reading one review that stated this powder "melted to the touch" I was very excited, well its just your plain ole run of the mill powder, not that fine milled , nothing special, it highlighted by pores and lines and compared to my current Meow Equilibrium powder this was very sub par. will not repurchase.

i really like this neutralizing powder a lot. if you have any red patches on your skin or uneven skin tone, this power covers it up. it really hides your flaws and doesn't look cakey at all.
the only bad thing i have to say is if you're using bronzer/are darker skinned you want to go light on this, it makes you paler. if you already have light skin i can't see this being a problem.
I became a big fan of this after I impulse purchased it while watching HSN. The yellow shade is truly neutralizing; I use it over my concealer and it just blends right in. I have tried a few other products from YBF, but this is the only real winner I've found so far.

This is an amazing product My makeup always looks perfect if I use this as a last step. It takes only a small amount so the compact lasts a long time. This is one product I buy again and again!!

just ordered 2 more and gave my used one to my mother who BEGGED for it after i did her face with this for our christmas picture. this yellow finely milled powder just brightens up your face like no other! it evens out all the redness and just illuminates your face. all my mom's friends emailed her after she sent out holiday picture commenting on how great she looked. she is using it for new years eve tonight ;) so i am stuck with none and so i had to order 2 more. ive had mine for a couple of months and it has barely dipped. i use it on my bare face on work days and as a setting powder over foundation for parties. good stuff and only 24.00 on HSN :)

I agree with the review below, plus the fact that if you have a foundation that is not quite yellow enough for your skintone, then dust this little beauty over the top and it will improve the colour match. I use it over the top of Pur Minerals 4 in 1 foundation and it turns from slightly peach to a perfect yellow-ish match to my skin.
I expect I will always have a compact of this - it will tone down blusher, or redness, smooth and blur imperfections, and even though the yellow colour looks quite alarming in the compact, on the skin it works wonders.

i bought this little gem back when i was a HSN addict =] stacie was on talking about her trip to italy, she would go there just to meet this guy in a little back shop where they made this finely milled powder for opera singers and wigs, it was a yellow gorgeouss powder that she swore one day she would bring to America. and she did =]
after seeing the demonstration, i knew i had to have it, im a sucker for cute stories like that and on top of that, it has the prettiest packaging! its a square compact with a baby pink color with shimmers on it, and on the top in silver is the brand YBF..there is a stamp in the powder with her cute logo, i just loveee the packaging!
the powder itself, is very very fine, its so fine, it melts when you touch it, its also a bit messy so you don't want to use your brush roughly..you don't need much which is good. it has a yellow tint, which is on the cooler side, but i know girls which warmer skin have used this and it looked beatiful. this is made for taking away the redness in your face, if you have a blemish thas red, or any discoloration, this powder will diminish it. it is not just made for that though. i have almost perfect, non oily, non dry skin, no acne scars, and i don't ever break out so i don't need to cover blemishes, i also don't have any redness..but this is also an absolutely amazing setting powder, and that's what i use it for. when im finished with my mac studio tech foundation, ill use a beauty powder to set quick, or just use this alone, it adds the most perfect blurr to my face. its amazing how much i notice when im wearing this..in a good way, it makes a huge difference, and makes me feel polished, classy, and beautful. it is a good product as a blot powder, but i would suggest mac's blot powder instead of using this, you only want to use this to set, if you keep applying, im sure you would turn yellow. i have also used it to set my undereye concealer..either my mac studio moisturecover..benefit's erase paste..or the creme' that i bought along with this..its a yellow creme' exactly like benefit's lemon aid. i will set with this powder and it will lighten up my eye's even more.
overall, i adore this powder, it has lasted quite a while, and i couldn't bear to not have it on my vanity..its so pretty to look at, lasts a long time, and also works amazing..i can't say i have many products that hit a homerun like this! if you have any questions about this powder, the creme' i mentioned, or ybf in general, let me know! id be happy to tell you where to get it. i suggest you do, i seriously have not found anything like it..i can truly say..this is NOT dupable. continued >>
