I have acne prone dry skin with scars, freckles and pigmentations. 23y/o
I first discovered Australis as a brand when I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Mac studio fix powder and I haven’t looked back since.
In NZ where I live Australis is a readily available very affordable, cruelty free quality makeup brand, they definitely have their “star of the show” products and some misses, but fortunately this isn’t one of those.
Applies very easily, doesn’t emphasise dryness , adds additional coverage if needed and my favourite thing is the finish. If I sweep this over my foundation with a soft bristled fluffy brush I get a nice natural ever so slightly matte look, but if I pack this on with a dense flat top it gives me lots more coverage, who wouldn’t want something that does both instead of having to have two different products..? However I apply it never looks dull! Can tend to look a little dry if you do not moisturise well (when applying heavier)
I’ll continue to but this because it’s affordable, has a great colour range and works well!

This is Australis' offering in the 'tubular' mascara category. It is very pretty when first applied, with a glossy rich black pigment that lengthens well. However, it smudges dreadfully beneath the eyes and does so very quickly, an hour after applying I look like I've been sweating on the dance floor all evening. This smudging is not something I've experienced with a tubular mascara previously. It almost seems to be a mix of a tubular and traditional mascara, as when washing it off in the shower under warm water, the mascara on the lashes will rinse away cleanly, but the panda eyes below the bottom lid will remain until removed with micellar water. I will not repurchase as the performance is so bad with the terrible smudging, plus I do specifically like a tubular mascara for ease of removal. This is my first drugstore tubular mascara and was a major disappointment.

WOW. This lipstick is green in the tube but once applied on your lips becomes the most beautiful colour. It has the smoothest application and doesn't become cakey. makes your lips POP! It is the most natural pink tint, so moisturising and non-drying. The pink shade suits my light skin tone really well but it tends to fade into a more subtle pink after while, which still looks very nice. Really moisturising and doesn't even feel like you have anything on but wouldn't recommend applying on dry lips (make sure you exfoliate your lips beforehand). Really great dupe for frog prince lipstick! I will definitely purchase again!!

I brought two of the reds (they stain, and the applicator isn't precise so be careful or use a lip brush), and a "zombie concealer lips" nude. I had the same experience as one of the reviewers below. They apply patchy then crumble and flake around the half hour mark. I saw an Australian girl on youtube who had a similar experience as well (Kat from BeautyNews?) - so it seems a common experience. Also make my lips feel super dry. They don't completely dry down so they transfer somewhat.Probably the worst liquid lips I've ever purchased. At NZ $17.50 they are not exactly cheap. Australis pressed powders are creamy smooth and nice, but everything else I've brought from them (mascara, nail polish, blush, eyeshadow) is overpriced low quality. I prefer Kat Von D's liquid lipstick (or Tarte, or Too Faced, or anyone's really).
