Even though I have white skin and green eyes, since I am Puerto Rican, I have some beautiful features coming from the awesome african genes in my blood. One of the traits I love the most is my hair! I have a head full of long (it reaches the lower part of my back), thick, ondulating hair. Seriously, I have so much hair, there are months in which the hair dresser needs the help of other two people to blow dry and iron it.
Well, with great hair comes great responsibility, and since I have dyed it three different shades of color over the course of five years (brown/black, pumpkin red/blonde, and auburn) , and I always straighten it myself, I need a great product that can help me keep it soft , healthy and shiny.
This conditioner does the trick and more! It has a thick consistency and a yummy smell. You can feel the difference it makes even while applying it in the shower! I always avoid the roots, obviously, because it can make my hair greasy earlier on. But this product hasn't failed me so far, and even if I try others, I always come back to this one. I owe it the beauty of my shiny locks! Recommend 100%

Mixed feelings about this product. The scent is heavenly, in my opinion, but also very strong, so steer clear if you're sensitive to that. It's not really anything special besides that, to be honest. The sulfates in it dry my hair out over time, but it doesn't bother me if I'm using soft water on my hair. I guess this is one you really need to try for yourself. I keep buying it because of the scent and I only use about half the bottle before I reach for something else.

Just like most of the HE products, okay at first but after a few uses I'm not impressed. It seems like all the HE products are the same. I personally need a LOT of it to get any kind of silky/defrizz results. I don't have a lot of hair and it's thin at that, so that's annoying. I saw no other pros even with using tons of it.

I also have to say the design of this bottle made me throw it out sooner than I should have. It got way too difficult to handle in the shower. I got frustrated just trying to get the conditioner out of the bottle I threw it away maybe half full. For the blah results (with the amount I needed) it wasn't worth it.

I think I'll officially quit on HE products especially if this bottle design keeps up. It's not so cheap either.

The shampoo was horrible, but the conditioner was average. The conditioner only made my hair shiny.

LTR is one of my favorite products by HE. so far, i can only trust on HE products range. I'm really done with other brands. I think i just found the right solution for my hair. LTR is the best conditioner for my hair. I don't use it alone, i often mix it up with other HE conditioners such as Hello Hydration and None of your friziness. To me, it doesn't work wonder if i only had it alone on my hair, but when i mixed them, it blends really well and leaves my hair softer, shiny and less frizzy. For post wash, i will apply the dangerously straight leave in cream to add protection to my hair. All i gotta say, the products are helpful . My hair type- fine hair, short and easy to break without a proper care.HE does take a good care on my hair. I will buy the product again!!!

I purchased LTR because I needed to stock up on conditioner and I wanted a silicone one for easier detangling. The packaging, the colors, the words, the SMELL...I was (am) a complete sucker for it. Plus I liked that it's for "long hair" (even though most the formulations are the same minus 2-3 ingredients in the HE lines). I'm trying to grow my medium length hair out and this seemed like a good product to try. It was $4.79 for the regular sized bottle at Rite Aid, and you could probably find it even cheaper in other stores.

Now, getting this was a gamble for me because I've tried Hello Hydration and None of your Frizzness conditioners and they both broke me out. I tried everything to avoid that issue too, so don't try and play me like I don't know how to wash my face after I condition, I'm not simple. I figured that I used to wash my hair a lot more frequently and maybe if I rotated this conditioner with others and only used it every couple weeks I'd be fine. I've used this conditioner twice and that plan's worked fabulously with no zits (so far).

As for results...LTR leaves my hair with beautiful moisture and a lovely scent that fades slowly enough where I can still appreciate the smell and quick enough where it's not overpowering. The moisture it provides is very non-chemically feeling (my worst fear of silicone conditioners) and as long as my face stays clear I'll consider this a worthwhile investment. Also, my hair does feel smoother and my usually coarse/frizzy ends felt a lot softer.

Cute. :)

The Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship conditioner is a plesently scented, light pink conditioner that comes in a red bottle with pretty writing on it. I love the little tips that come on each bottle, but that's pretty much where the love stops with this. The scent is very sweet, and after a while, I found myself being almost nauesated by it because I'd smell it on my hair after I rinsed, and the day after showering it would still linger on it. I also found that it caused me to break out on my hairline, but it was nothing major, and I wouldn't dock points if it had done what I wanted it to, which was help make my hair longer. After using it for a few months, I finally had to face the facts- it did nothing for my hair. No shine (which I need- my hair is super dull), minor softness (but I have pretty soft hair natrually)...nothing. I won't repurchase due to it being a pretty average conditioner, but it could work for you.

You get what you pay for I guess, I don't love it.. It does smell great and the smell lasts, but I can't say it helped at all with any split ends or making it look shinier or healthier. I do like that it doesn't leave a thick residue, and it doesn't leave my hair feeling tangled. But, I'd rather spend a few extra bucks on a better drugstore brand than buy this again, it's just really nothing special.

After reading so much love, I bought this for my relaxed hair (currently on a stretch) hoping for the melted away tangles but this was \nothing special at all, if not bad. As I rinsed it out, my hair felt wet-dry, stringy, not detangled at all, and I just knew it wouldn't end well. It smell's nice and has cute packaging but its never touching my head again.

This conditioner is AMAZING!! It smells luscious and it moisturizes really good. I think this product works best for curly hair because it made my hair more curly and shiny! It is very thick so it moisturizes very well. The reason I gave this a 4 not a 5 is because it stopped working after awhile, I think it's because my hair got used to it. But after I switched to a different conditioner for a while and then came back to this one it did the same job as it did when I first got it! :))
