Hair Styling Tools -Remington -Wet 2 Straight

I read the good reviews on here and thought I would give it a try. I have always used a chi flat iron on dry hair and have been pretty happy with it but saw that this could cut down on my drying time. Ugh! This fried my hair! I even used a great hear protectant. It made my hair like straw and even stripped the color! I have never had this kind of awful result. Using heat like this on wet hair is a recipe for disaster if you already have damaged hair. Can't wait to return this! Not for me. I'll stick with a hair dryer and my chi flat iron.

Hair Styling Tools -Remington -Sweep And Style

I was sent the black regular sized by Remington as a gift coz my fave updo clip the pink enamel was chipping off. They sent those wire combs & this black regular sized sweep & style along w a checque for $4.25......& u can't do spit with that reg sized sweep & style unless it's for a little girl. I got 2 (I went to 1 Walmart they only had the black little size so I i ordered off Walmart dot com) of the tortoise shell extra thick hair 1s (I was ordering so I decided to get 2 in case I really liked them fact is #YES I really like the tortie 1s much better becoz they are for thick hair) I do not have thick hair so I don't know how they'd work for girls who happened to actually have thick hair but they are $6 if u want to try them on or Walmart stores. I've never seen them any other stores buy is always OOS. But they got a video on there on how to use it.

Here is a link to the LARGE THICK HAIR tortoise shell sweep & style:

The large sweep & style is awesome! I definitely vote for #winning once you get the hang of the interlocking trick for the combs it will become second nature. My moms like she could never get/grasp that but it takes a few tries but don't get discouraged! This is probably (other than my ficcare's) my fave hair clip atm (the thick hair tortoise shelll one. Like I said the black one is useless but i linked it up at any rate).

Have a good 1, thx for reading (hope the links helped),

Hair Styling Tools -Remington -Updo twist hair clip

I got this clip at Walmart in the grey-black tortie color. It can be a little challenging to put in your hair esp if it's short (mine is down to my shoulders so of course I don't mean Pixie short), or if you have freshly shampooed/conditioned hair so it helps to apply a whole lot of hairspray before you go about trying to put it into your hair. Take & twist your hair upwards into a French twist (or a bun) then weave the pin upwards (or downwards, it can be done either way) at a 45 degree angle & go through your hair until it's secure. It may take a few times to try this until you figure out the best method to make your hair secure. There aren't any YT videos on how to use it so you're kind of on your own on using it. There is a small photo on the packaging but it's much too small to be of much help/no directions like I was figuring there would be some kind of instructions folded inside but, no!! This reminds me of a giant Twist N Clip. I think it was ~$5 it comes in a few different colors only one size. I will rebuy more colors when I go back to Walmart or see them any other place. I don't always have success w hair toys I'm kind of stuck in a Ficcare/jaws clip/twist N clip rut but this is a stylish option for those who have thicker long hair. My hair is extremely thin but hairspray helps a lot.

Misc Beauty Tools -Remington -Remington EP1050 Smooth & Silky Facial Tweezer System

Update: well, shoot. While this was effective, sitting in front of the TV, letting it go to town on my ladystache and chin whiskers, I believe that it's just too fast and aggressive about the plucking. Two days after my first session, I had zitlike bumps in the area and I think that the device breaks some hairs off, rather than complete a full pluck. So, I can't say I'd recommend it now. Sigh...

Original review: Constantly plucking my middle-aged-lady chin whiskers. I think this product has promise. Got it at Ulta for $14.99. I find that it doesn't grab some obvious hairs immediately, so it takes a while to go over an area, but that nothing that using it while on the sofa watching TV won't fix.

Low price
Portable/battery operated
Effective (eventually)
Can use it without a mirror
Grabs peach fuzz and coarse hairs

Doesn't grab all hairs immediately
Surprisingly loud
