Skincare - Face -Liz Earle -Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

foto

Wanted to love this - it cleanses really well which surprised me as normally requires a heavy duty cleanser to remove sunscreen, but after approximately 1 week of use it started to break me out...small bumps on my jaw line area and chin, almost like a rash. Contacted Liz Earle CS and advised of a couple of different things I could try, neither of which worked for me unfortunately. Something in this product, possibly the Eucalyptus oil, even in such a tiny amount, doesn't want to agree with my skin. Have given to my mum to use and she has absolutely no issues with it and her skin is looking amazing right about now! Trial it first if unsure.

Moisturizers -Liz Earle -Liz Earle - Skin Repair Light

A fairly good moisturizer which I purchased in the 0.5 oz tube. Does a nice job moisturizing, without being too heavy or causing me any breakouts. The texture is fairly light and more or less vanishes into my skin instantly. However it doesn't do much for my skin other than moisturize, for example antioxidants (other than the standard Vit E in just about all skincare) or skin smoothing/renewing benefits, even shine control which I had read in some of the other reviews...come afternoon my t-zone was its normal shiny self.
It's a fairly natural, safe moisturizer if you overlook the perfume aspect. Personally I wouldn't repurchase in the bigger pump tube as I like my moisturizers to go that extra mile which for me this just doesn't do...

Toners -Liz Earle -Liz Earle Instant Boost skin tonic

Although I don't suffer from dry skin, I do find most toners harsh and drying and so for the most part tend to avoid them. This one however by Liz Earle is alcohol-free and full of natural plant-derived ingredients, plus humectants that help retain moisture in the skin. I use this every PM right before moisturizer and although not brightening as such, I do notice my skin look a little bit more healthier and glowing. So far loving it. Bought this in a trial size along with the Hot cleanse & polish and a few other of their goodies, which I can't wait to try out too!

Moisturizers -Liz Earle -Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser - Normal-Combination

on 1/18/2018 6:17:00 AM

It's much like the other 2 in this series. If you have combi skin this may be too oily. The ingredients are good, but it's quite heavy. Available in 50ml tube or jar format. I bought the 15ml tester from their website. Boots have recently bought Liz Earle from Avon. It smells great but doesn't do anything that a much cheaper cream couldn't do. The Superskin moisturisers are far superior - less greasy and plumping.

Skincare - Face -Liz Earle -Superskin Overnight Mask

on 1/9/2018 5:01:00 AM

If you're looking for something to transform parched, tired skin that's in need of a bit of TLC, look no further. Oh, and spoiler alert, try it on your arms, it's a game changer.

I'm writing this review in the middle of one of those really spectacular, unglamorous winter colds doing the rounds, everything about me looks grim I will not lie, except, that is, for my skin, which still - thanks to this product, feels firm and looks clear and glowing. That's what prompted me to remember to post a review.

The product looks halfway between a body lotion and a moisturiser, hence the size of the tub, I guess. You use about an almond size dollop on your face (or more if you're feeling fancy) and unlike a mask it spreads and leaves no visible trace. Smells just as lovely as most Liz Earle products, kind of floral and fresh.

If kind of leaves a film on your face, not too sticky but enough to work whatever magic it does. Personally I like that but others may not.

When I bought it, the sales assistants suggested I try it on my upper chest and arms if they were ever feeling dry, as some of their customers swear by it.

I have KP on my arms which needs a lot of help but oh my word this stuff is amazing! SO effective! It looks like I have different skin, and the effect lasts a few days. I used it for my wedding and there's no hint of KP in the photos, luckily!

The heavy glass tub gets minus points for practicality as it's unhygienic, a difficult size to fit anywhere and I think a tube or pump will work better, still, you can't have everything.

Anyhow, I know overnight masks are getting more popular at the moment but this is one product I won't be changing. Love it.
