Polishes -China Glaze -Nail Lacquer - Resting Grinch Face

Resting Grinch Face is from the China Glaze 2018 Grinch Collection. I purchased mine in mini bottles as that is generally enough polish for me due to my large stash. It is a glitter topper, however, it is dense enough that I think you could reach opacity by sponging it on.

This polish loaded with glitter in a clear base. It has red, blue, green, gold and silver glitter and as such it looks very Christmas like, but it is versatile enough to be used anytime you want some gorgeous glitter on your nails.

i used this over Grinchworthy and the end result was loaded with sparkle. The formula was excellent with the glitter spreading evenly across my nail bed with no manipulation on my part. There is a good amount of glitter with every brush stroke, but not so much that it overwhelmed the base color. Depending on how much glitter you want one coat may be enough but I wanted to jazz mine up a bit more so I added two coats.

As I mentioned, I got this polish in a mini size. The packaging was extra cute for this collection with the Grinch on the bottle caps. It comes in a standard ChG mini bottle. Despite its size the brush was surprisingly good and application was easy.

I used a peel off base coat with this one as I think that the glitter would be hard to remove. There was no staining. I cannot attest to wear as I used a peel off.

I would definitely purchase this polish again if I ever ran out. I think in the set I got I paid about $2,50 for the mini. It is pretty enough to justify the cost for this small bottle.

Polishes -China Glaze -The Grinch Collection Nail Lacquer - Grinchworthy

Grinchworthy is from China Glaze’s Holiday Collection 2018/The Grinch. I purchased this polish in a mini and I love it so much I am considering getting a full size bottle.

This is a lovely and sparkling green polish. It has some micro gold flakes as well as hints of blue and green. It applies smoothly and evenly with not skipping or pulling. The formula is great. There is no running or pooling. The micro flakes spread evenly without any manipulation.

Removal was easy and there was no staining. I used a peel off base coat so that aided in the removal easy. Because of the peel off base coat I can’t attest to the wear.

This comes packaged in a mini China Glaze bottle. For the size of the bottle the brush was good and application easy with the brush. This packaging is extra cute as each bottles cap as the Grinch in two different poses.

I bought the mini set of these polishes and the price was around $14 on eBay. They are well worth the cost. Grinchworthy is so sparkles and pretty - perfect for the holidays or any time of the year. I would definitely repurchase and might buy a back up.

Polishes -China Glaze -Nail Lacquer - Queen, Please!

Love!! From their Happily Never After Collection for Halloween 2017, China Glaze's Queen Please is made up of iridescent gold microshimmer is a sheer, opalescent base. It can be worn by itself or layered over other polishes, and it looks beautiful either way. I like how the shimmery particles flash gold and metallic green in the light. Queen Please is similar to ChG's Twinkle Twinkle Little Starfish (QP is basically a toned-down version) and also ChG's Hay Girl Hay (HGH has white confetti microglitter sprinkled throughout and QP does not). All three polishes are very similar to each other but not dupes.

Good formula as well. Applies smoothly and wears well.

This is a welcome addition to my collection and I'd definitely buy it again. Highly Recommended!

Polishes -China Glaze -Nail Lacquer - Life's Grimm

I like this one a lot! From their Happily Never After Collection for Halloween 2017, China Glaze's Life's Grimm is a blackened shade of olive green with tons of golden microshimmer. A nice alternative to straight black, this color is similar to Zoya's Edyta (but not a dupe!) and it looks great on the nail. Kind of goth-y and grungy but still pretty.

Good ChG formula as well. Opaque in two coats and no problems at all with application or wear.

This is a welcome addition to my collection and I'd definitely buy it again.

Polishes -China Glaze -Nail Lacquer - IDK

In 2008 China Glaze released their much-lusted-after OMG holographic polish collection, and now for it's ten year anniversary they've re-released six out of the original twelve shades as the OMG Flashback collection. I've got a few of their original OMG polishes and think that the strength of the holographic shimmer between the two collections is about the same - such a relief, because the holographic shades from the brand post-OMG have been pretty "meh" overall. IDK is a dusty purple/lilac shade, that is filled with a linear holographic shimmer. This is my favourite shade in the OMG Flashback collection and is backed up with a winning formula.

The formula is pretty much fantastic in one coat, if you apply a thicker coat, though I do always recommend (at least) two thinner coats of any polish for a better wear time - but it's nice to know that if you don't have a lot of time to spend on your mani, that this is a good time-saving option. The formula is neither too thick or too thin, has great pigmentation, it is smooth, even and non-streaky to apply, it dries quickly, and I've not experienced any staining, bleeding, or shrinkage [I always wear a basecoat]. In general nail polishes will last me anywhere between two to four days with only minimal wear. But as I'm a self powered wheelchair user I'm tough on my hands and am always catching my nails, so I can't really speak for how long lasting the formula is overall.
