Mascara -Arbonne -It's A Long Story Mascara

on 4/17/2018 12:44:00 PM

I got a sample of this and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It only takes 2 simple coats and makes my lashes long and thicker and it doesn't clump, feel heavy or flake. I don't mind using it (some I hate because of the multiple coats and heaviness and clumps I wish I'd never even applied.) HOWEVER I did click "No" that I won't repurchase and ONLY because I cannot afford it no matter how I try :'( $40 for a mascara is for celebrities and wealthy heiresses, not me.Too bad they can't make this less expensive because it would instantly become my HG.

Skincare - Body -Arbonne -Hand Cream

I am reviewing the Shea Butter Hand cream by Arbonne.

Lovely stuff.
My go to is Clinique's, but this one has a sweet scent to it, doesn't absorb as quickly but it's very, very effective very quickly and gorgeous, pure luxury.

One for next to your bedside.

Quite cheap for Arbonne.

I only use Clinique and Paula's choice- but got given a free set of the anti ageing stuff when I bought the (absolutely amazing) Arbonne's energy fizz sticks and protein shakes.

Meh.

Cleanser was good.
Toner was OK.
Day cream not moisturising enough for my dry skin, well, in fact none of their creams was moisturising enough for my very dry skin. Mineral, horrid scent to the spa containing products. The night cream seemed to absorb quickly and I genuinely looked good in the AM, but it's in jar packaging and I won't buy it.
The SPF is only 20 (I prefer higher SPF's in day creams). I liked their eye cream and might be purchasing that.

I only "know" one rep and she's definitely not pushing any stuff my way- she's great.

For good ARbonne stuff, I recommend their nutritional energy fizz sticks and protein shakes and the very good, albeit expensive, body lotions.

Lipstick -Arbonne -Smoothed Over Lipstick

Dream is my favourite HG lipstick . It’s the perfect peachy pink color it’s moisturizing and feels amazing in the lips! It’s not matte but not shiny it’s like a satin finish with very slight sheen makes the lips look juicy and healthy. . If it wasn’t so expensive I’d buy it again. :(

Moisturizers -Arbonne -Re9 Restorative Day Cream SPF 20

This cream is very greasy/oily. It left my skin so slick that I couldn't put my makeup on afterwards. When I did, my makeup looked cakey and I would be so shiny and oily I would blot my face several times a day. I've tried lots of creams and never had this issue. Because it's so expensive I've been using it up by adding a very matte moisturizer to it to cut the grease. This has been working a bit, but it's still a lot more slick than I would like.

I'm not sure how other people are using this, but even if I was using it only as a sunscreen (with no makeup on) it would still be too oily for me. If you don't like to look and feel shiny then this isn't for you!
