Lifelong collector and wearer of red lipsticks, can safely say formula and the shade of this red is a standout.. Ran into Dollar Tree for some wrapping paper, ok let me check out the cheap makeup, picked it up for a 1.00. Fully expected to toss it but no... applies like a cream, no muss no fuss. Dries down more like a matte. Appears orange-y tinted in the bullet, plus the name suggests that, but is really more rose/watermelon type of red. Perfect day time red, but can be layered for night. Long lasting, even through a (non-greasy) meal. Can't lose by giving it a try.

This red is...hot. Seriously, this is the kind of lipstick you out on and think, wow...sexy! This is a glossy-cream, bright red that has notable pink undertones. The formula is smooth but not so slippery that it settles or migrates, it has nice adhesion. I love the shine. One coat should do you.Precious reviewers have noted that this looks good on yellow/olive/pale skin/blue eyes - and that's me to a tee. I'd have to agree. This shade reminds me of NYC Traffic Jam in terms of brightness and 'pow' factor, but Hot Red leans pink where Traffic Jam leans orange. There are also formula differences of course.Of course...you will nick the bullet - I lost the point off mine right away. But it's a rare budget lipstick that doesn't have this issue.Even though I have many (many) red lipsticks, I would re-buy. It's a hot color after all ;).

I collect red lipsticks, I hoard them like no other. Urban Decay, MAC, Milani....and this bad boy...girl. Bad girl. Anyway, this is a gorgeous red. Applies smooth, doesn't bleed, really suits my pale skin and blue eyes. I wear it with MAC's Cherry lip liner and it stays pretty long too. Can't believe the awesome quality of Wet'n'Wild lipsticks, I've bought so many lately. The only drawback is the packaging but when I travel I just put mine in a lipstick case. All in all, very pleasantly surprised! This lippie is a winner.

I j'adore if it's been done before...but nobody did red as most excellently as wnw Hot Red! This is so unbelievable an elegant red that immediately pulls me all together in a chic model way. Nothing trashy about this, I find red kind of makes me channel Liz Taylor but you could as easily channel Charlize Theron any classic beauty really. I usually wear more browned down reds if I do red, but I don't believe in doing something half a$$ go all the way or go home & wnw makes me look like I'm not going home anyways cause I'm smart & beautiful feeling/looking & shhhhhh I paid USD$0.87 cents!

This is the first red lipstick I ever bought and it's one of my favorite red lipsticks I own. It's a true red, but my skin tone is so yellow/warm it can look kind of hot pink in some lights. It's very flattering for olive complexions. It has a slightly glossy finish. The packaging does suck as the cap is always coming off, but can't beat the price! It does not last all day, but it fades to a nice, muted red stain. I would repurchase.

I really love this lipstick. It is a very bright color red that looks very good with my skintone and it makes my whole face pop. I got it from Wagreens fo 99¢, so if you're looking for a cheap long lasting lipstick this is it! The only thing I would recommend you doing is putting on a very thin coat of clear lipgloss under it because it is kinda dry, and putting clear lipgloss on top of it because it is a silk finish and does not have any shine to it. But other than that I love it and it is a very good price and color its the bomb.com

Absolutely love this red! The only downfall is that sometimes i feel like i need to put a lipgloss over it. The price is so cheap, but so is the packaging. The packaging wears out, cap does not stay on,and cap is totally cracked.

I have 2 of the wet n wild lipsticks and this is a great red colour The color is so pretty, it is affordable and there's a good amount of lipstick too. I love how you can also choose between a number of different lipsticks for the one you want. The one thing I don't really like about this product is that it isn't really creamy it is kind of a dry ish lipstick. So when my friend used it and I cleaned it after it became even dryer than what it was before so I wish it was more creamier but overall I give it a 4/5 and a yes to repurchasing.
