    I have an older version of this (says Paula's Select on the handle) and it seems to be natural hair bristles. It's very soft and hasn't shed a bit (unlike the older version of the Powder brush)....

    This blush brush is wonderful! About 15 years ago I purchased all MAC brushes. They are great, but Paula's are just as great and a lot cheaper. I use all her brushes now.
