Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser

I don’t mind this cleanser, I find it to be a pretty basic universal cleanser. Which, in my opinion, makes it overpriced. I was hoping to be wowed but it’s just ok. There’s nothing wrong with it, I like the texture and the smell. I feel like it cleanses my face nicely, removing makeup well without leaving residue. I love the aesthetic of the product and was hoping to like it enough to repurchase once I went through the travel size but I likely won’t.

Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream

What a weird looking cream. It’s an odd beige tone, not like foundation, more like putty. I checked the list of ingredients and there is caramel in it, I assume to make this look like it’s the mushroom extract contributing to the color, but honestly, why the added color? Looks aside, instead of being a thick cream it actually feels more like a whipped mousse/cream. With only 29 ingredients in it, this cream can pack a punch. I tested it out against Tatcha’s The Dewy Skin Cream (41 ingredients - contains alcohol and silicones) and have to say I prefer YTTP because there is no situation of pilling under makeup, it is moisturizing, and doesn’t leave skin feeling tacky if using as the last skin care product at night. The price is steep, as are the rest of the products by YTTP, so I’m not sure this would be an ongoing frequent purchase for me. I got a deluxe sample size in a small glass jar with a Sephora order so it was enough to test out over a full week but I wouldn’t mind a mini of this if it was available for purchase.
