So happy with the 15% strength peel! I've done it twice within the past six months and learned from both applications. Firstly, I've had higher-strength peels at the spa. My skin is quite tough and I have a good understanding of pre- and post-peel care. I picked 15% for home use as it's neither the weakest nor strongest, and should strike a balance between being effective and still safe for home use. I didn't do a patch test due to past experience with spa peels; otherwise I would absolutely do a patch test! For the first use about six months ago, I applied the acid with a cotton pad in one layer, let it sit for five minutes, then neutralized and cleansed. I had no redness or frosting and only minimal peeling, mostly in my T-zone. Not a very exciting result, but I was happy that no damage was done and that I could double-apply the acid next time to see more of an effect. For the second use a few weeks ago, I applied the acid with a cotton pad in one layer, let it sit for five minutes, applied a second layer of acid with a cotton pad, let it sit for four minutes (could have easily let it go for the maximum of five), and neutralized and cleansed. I had no frosting, some burning during the second layer, and minimal redness during application and for a very short time afterward (remember, my skin is tough!). My skin felt tight and dry for the first 48 hours, then started to loosen and flake on my chin, followed by my nose and mouth area after three days, forehead and lower third of face after five days, and finally my cheeks started to flake after six days. For a full two weeks, my post-care comprised gentle cleansing and application of Vitamin C serum and physical sunscreen. I started wearing a bit of concealer after nine days to cover up my normal redness, resumed full makeup after about 12 days when all of the flaking had stopped, and resumed daily applications of AHA and BHA after two weeks. Very happy with the results! I plan to redo this peel with the dual application every six to 12 months and also want to try it on my back (bacne, ugh!).

Sea Mineral Toner

I like MUAC in general. Should have known better than to order this toner considering anything with kelp, algae etc, ruins my skin and quickly. This stuff broke me out terribly and turned my complexion into a ruddy, red, bumpy, rough mess. Can't finish it, will give it to my niece but fortunately, I only bought the sample.

Mandelic Acid Cleanser

My oily breakout prone skin loves this cleanser. I use it with the oil of Olay face brush. It helps keep my skin clear/ take off remaining makeup residue at the end of the day. If I remember to use it consistently with the brush, it even calms hormonal breakouts.
