I have a couple products from Alpha-H and I am very fond of them. This particular product however, I do not rate well. The cream itself is not bad, but add in terrible/faulty packaging with the high price tag and it's not good. The problem with the packaging is that the cream reacts with the metal applicator causing it to corrode. Every single morning, there is a glob of greenish/blue corrosion like when a battery goes bad. It's eating away at the applicator and completely contaminating the product. I have probably wasted the majority of the cream by squeezing out and wiping away any affected product just to be able to apply it. The cream itself is ok but not particularly effective - I am unsure if that's due to the corrosion or not. I have stopped using it because it definitely does not seem safe. I have noted quite a few reviews with the exact same problem. I will not repurchase this. Very disappointed.

A thick hydrating cream with high SPF. For my normal combo skin I use serum, then this SPF, and that is enough to keep me moisturized for the day. Takes 5 minutes to dry down. Leaves skin looking shiny and oily but doesn't feel oily. Doesn't leave a white cast on my fair skin. Doesn't sting my eyes. Un-fragranced, doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Doesn't break me out as long as I'm careful to thoroughly wash it off at night. Its got a lot going for it but I'm not going to repurchase for several reasons. Its expensive but not as many benefits as others I've tried. Usually in this price range you get blurring properties and also PA+++ which also blocks the suns AGING rays in addition to the SPF. Not just SPF which is blocks the burning rays only. Then I've also noticed it pills slightly when worn under makeup. And finally, its a chemical sunscreen, which they have now proved ALL get into the bloodstream and cause DNA damage and therefore are a potential cause of cancer in itself. Am shifting over to mineral only sunscreens now because of this.

Got a rash and an itch as soon as I used it. Absolutely no effect. I have used other glycolic acid products with no issue so I know it's not that. Do not recommend.
