I've been using this for about 3 months now. I love other products in this line, but I am on the fence about this one. My eye area feels a bit firmer after days of applying, but it does not absorb well at all on me. It almost gums up at times, even when I apply extremely sparingly. Out of all the products in this line this is the one I am least in love with. I will give it some more time though.
Also the scent in this product seems to differ a bit from the other products in the line. I don't know if that is a function of some active ingredient in the eye cream that isn't in the others or what, but it does smell different.

Purchased the ENTIRE Annick Goutal skincare line for my birthday in October, but unfortunately other than the cleanser, the other items were a miss for me and actually left me a bit on the dry side. Very expensive for standard products. I will repurchase the cleanser again, which I use daily and for me this is the only hit from the skincare line.

Expensive eye cream. The fragrance of roses with blackberry seems to make me have a headache as it lingers on for a while. however, i love the light texture of the cream. Its not heavy like la mer, where i had to rub and rub it into the delicate eye area and causing new wrinkles.. but this one is so light that it sinks right in! a little amount also goes a long way. was using the bits left on the lid and that lasted me a week! not sure if it makes my wrinkles go away but i find it moisturising and will update at a later date.

Ahh yes, this is the stuff. I am 41 years old and when I look for and eye cream, I really need something that hydrates well but does not leave my eye area greasy. This is another product in the Goutal Splendide skincare line. The blurb on the packaging states "This rich and smooth nourishing treatment holds an anti-aging action targeted at the treatment and protection of the most sensitive areas of the face. The combination of active rose sap and blackcurrant buds in wheat germ oil gives to the cream it's smoothing, nourishing and extra firming benefits along with an immediate feeling of comfort. Promotes complete lifting and toning of the eye contour area" End of package blurb. Well OK...it does feel immeditely soothing, I'll agree there. No eye cream has ever "lifted" for me and I don't know why they ever claim to do these things but this is a truly fanstastic cream. I cannot wear this on my lids for day because it is too rich for makeup application over it but it is wonderful under my eyes. It does plump up my skin and decrease fine lines incredibly well. It absorbs fairly well but it continues to hydrate and do what I look for an eye cream to do. My HG has been shiseido's benefiance so that should tell you what I like in my eye treament product. If you are very oily this would probably not be for you but if you have normal to dry skin and fine lines you are really going to love this. Again, the scent of this is really fantstic, a light rose bouquet with soothing green notes.
