This is how I was hoping Hot Gossip by MAC would look on. It is just beautiful!

On the website it is described as a 'warm lilac rose' which is is, but the swatch online is no where near as lovely as it is in real life. I went to Illamasqua with a list of lipsticks I wanted to try and this one wasn't on there as it looks very purple online. In the flesh, it is a lot pinker. It is also matte, which is a finish I prefer over the shinier lips - which is probably why I prefer it to Hot Gossip, though the colours are very similar.

It is very pigmented, so you only need to apply once. The shape of the product is good - a rounded edge rather than a point - so it can be easily applied. I like the casing, but personally I do think for £15.50 they could do better. It's a little plasticky.

Overall, this is the perfect pink for my skin. I would definitely purchase again.
